Eh ,I'm not really feeling Natalia ,Kamila, or Agnete for the May VI cover.Someone completely out of left field and new would be great(I'm sure it has happened in the past where someone Meisel liked shot straight to the cover without much of a fanfare when they started out).I could see him liking Aline ,or Anne Selezima(sp?).

Well last years May cover was an established girl and a suprise (Gemma) and it was one of the best covers of the year, so i hope Meisel doesn't let us down this year..

Ah yes ,Gemma's cover.One of my favorite covers of 2007.

May 2006 was nice also ,with Heather Bratton R.I.P.

Maybe it will be someone still sort of new but still fairly established?

I just read about that, thanks for posting it here LYF! I believe that Wayne posted something similar earlier today as well:

The ne plus ultra this weekend is a convergence of some of the most fantastic black models ( past and present ) for a shoot that promises to be a definitive visual extravaganza . It could mean a serious blue chip cover. Or two. Stay tuned.

Hope I can bring this up but maybe the 'Chanel & Jourdan on the cover of US Vogue' rumour is really about VI?

And I can totally imagine Carla Bruni made up as modern day Marianne on the cover of the VP France themed issue

Reading the TI post again, its older and new models (past and present).
So i guess its Iman, Liya or Naomi with Chanel, Jourdan or Kinee? Or a mixture of all of them plus more.
