Since it already leaked, i would say its for January UK Vogue (she appeared twice on it previously), thanks for the heads up birdyandme.

I thought UK Vogue also. It would certainly fit with the first issue of the new millenium if they're going for a British cover star.

I don't know that the actual images have leaked, just some outtakes from a new shoot with Testino - they're all very LQ. Probably pulled from an agency site.
It could be totally nothing, but I hope it does point to a cover!

I like seeing Kate, and I like reading her articles. So I'd be happy with having her on whatever cover it will turn out to be.

I just checked what she could be promoting however, and she doesn't even have a movie in production. She's only rumoured to have been cast in a film not being filmed till next year.

The last time she was on the cover in 07 she wasn't really promoting anything at the time. She actually quite often appears on covers when she doesn't have things to promote - which is a rarity!

Christina did something for Marie Claire. This is the header of the site but basically this is how she's going to look like in the spread or maybe cover. She looks so young I it. Also, this was from the actual shoot.

I think that's the point. It doesn't come out until the 30th and yet there are so many people complaining about it being late when they are simply being annoyingly impatient.

I just hope it lives up to everyone's expectations. Who does everyone WANT to be the guest editor? I'm not too thrilled about the Laetitia Casta rumor at all... I really wish it would be Tom Ford or even M/M Paris because the last time a guy guest-edited was Galliano, no? Imagine if she let Bruce Weber guest-edit... All the collages would be so cool. Haha, now my brain is going crazy picturing different people's editions.

Yes, I do find it weird too... The fact that it's her really doesn't please me AT ALL but what I find surprising is that they choose her considering it's their anniversary issue.

I agree, it's an extremely odd choice for an anniversary issue. She's bigger in France than other places, right? But still, she doesn't exactly fit the shoes of Kate Moss and Galliano...

I think this year's should be a designer - McQueen or even Tisci (wouldn't be my first choice but Carine loves him obviously, and his viewpoint is strong enough that it would make a cohesive issue, unlike Stephanie de Monaco's last year which seemed a bit pointless imo.)

I find Laetitia a bit of a strange choice too, but I don't see why she deserves it less than someone like Kate Moss who's a model all the same or Charlotte Gainsbourg who just has famous parents.

Who knows the rumor may have been false and it could be someone completely different, hopefully not Courtney, that would be a nightmare, but Riccardo would be incredible.
