GAP is deader than a Dodo in the UK. It's been struggling for absolutely years, they've shut all but a handful of stores and I struggle to see how they even manage to keep those ones open to be honest. GAP never really found a home here in the UK at all, they expanded too quick and then swiftly nose dived. They barely even advertise over here, so I wouldn't bank on it bringing in any money to the magazine at all.

Funny you say that, I've actually found them to be just as weak in countries other than America as well! It's somewhat like J Crew for me. Of course there are stores in the UK, but I hardly ever hear people mention this store in conversation.

GQ UK is Cara in a full on metallic robot suit and white blunt bob. It's very, very feminine for one of their covers which are so usually drenched in testosterone. Even when females are the subject. The masthead and font is even blush pink.

HATE her ballady music (she makes Adele seem highbrow), but when last have we seen such a majestic fashion transformation?? She'll deserve that cover, whichever month it will be. This entire fashion campaign of hers have been leading up to that, to be honest. Ever since she hired that new stylist, I'm sure the goal was always to get a Vogue cover. Any Vogue would've been ok, that it may be the American one will be tremendous bonus. I don't mind Celine, she's harmless and thirsty, corny and deep. The perfect subject for a Vogue cover feature. Designers love her because she actually pays her way which mean she really like the designs. And maybe for once it will be nice to have someone on the cover who will completely relish the experience.

Not only the Dior show, she was also sitting next to Anna at the Giambattista Valli show, so a Vogue cover next is quite obvious.
