Cover Rumor Thread

What other models do you guys see on the board? I see Kate Moss, Stella Tennant, Jean and Edie Campbell..I maybe see Rianne and Marte Mei near the bottom
+ Nora Attal in the main ed
Faretta, Kris Grikaite and Cara Taylor in that "School of Charm" ed.

I remember someone mentioning Linda did a photoshoot for Bazaar before?

I won't be surprised if we see GaGa on the cover again.

I'm quite looking forward to the September issue of US Harper's Bazaar, actually! We will see the first look at their annual Bazaar Icons/Carine Roitfeld shoot (which Linda Evangelista's a part of) in the Sept edition of UK Bazaar. Wonder who else was involved? All models perhaps?

Vogue is celebrating Vogue 125
Bazaar is celebrating Bazaar 150

This September. I wonder who's bound to look better.

However, if Vogue is indeed using J Law, then I'm more excited for Bazaar.

Can J Law be any safer of a choice?

I highly doubt that Lawrence will be on the Vogue cover! Vogue US never had the same person on their September cover twice and J Law was on the cover of 2013 issue.

^ Not true actually, Linda Evangelista has had FOUR Sept covers of US Vogue. Lauren Hutton has also had quite a few Sept covers for them. At least 3 that I can remember from my collection. This will be the first time a celeb got Sept twice, and it must be true. WWD always get's the right cover scoops.

It's so shocking they went with her again for Sept, and its Anniversary issue, sigh!

You're right! But there is no reason for any celeb to appear on such an important cover more than once, let alone J Law. But I guess it could've been worse...

Isn't the JLaw cover a collaboration with an artist? I'm holding onto this small fact in the hope that maybe they'll produce something good...

What they fail to realize is that collaborating with an artist and making it artistic doesn't always mean that its the proper way of celebrating an anniversary. Leave those art collaborations with W. As if that ever worked out for them. Why even bother producing an artistic cover if you'll jump back to your old ways in the immediately succeeding month? Give us an anniversary cover that would reflect the new direction (if there be one) of the magazine. Or feature someone new that represents the now (not just the "social media" trend, but generally what's happening today). It's like looking back, yet looking forward. We need, now more than ever, inspiring people to look up to and read about. Not an actress promoting something and hoping to bag an award.

We don't need another Lady Gaga cover with a banner on her head. Times are different now.

Not looking forward to read Miley bleating on and on about how she changed her ways. Or how in love she is. She's a fraud who shouldn't be getting any press, tbh.

Well, my guess is there won't be any covers anytime soon for either Trumps! Good on Vogue.
I hope so. They are literally all barking mad.
But fashion is shallow like Mon said, so I wouldn't be surprised when they negatively surprise us in the future.

Red's September issue is Miranda Kerr. It's also painfully thin for a September issue. I've never seen anything like it!

Red manages to keep going while other magazines have died, I wonder what its secret is? Other than people like me buying it as part of a magazine multipack, and even I don't do that anymore, because UK Bazaar is thin and boring during these summer months.

^Thanks for the heads up! Just seen the cover on coversofvogue's Instagram story and can't say I'm overly fond. It's a closeup shot, fairly bland, lots of pale yellows and shot by Harley Weir.
