Madonna and M&M have created some of her most iconic images over years. I wasn't in love with what they came up with for Vogue Italia last year, but it was a perfectly decent editorial. I expect much better for British Vogue, especially since it's her return to the cover after 3 decades. We shall see soon.

You're right, it's not an inspired choice. I'd love to see her work with someone new, who might inspire her. Until then, I'm gonna be excited for this cover.

After reading the article it seems to allude to the fact she’s in talks with Vogue about doing an at home Photoshoot “when she’s ready”. I don’t think this means that she will be on the June Cover so the Madonna cover is still relevant but more likely a later issue if at all.

Yikes! I thought she'd lay off covers at least for a few years just like Duchess Kate did. Of course HM wouldn't approve of a cover so soon.
And shouldn't she be covering British Vogue first? But Serena, Amal and Priyanka all have American Vogue covers, so naturally she won't say no to one.

If true, I think it’s a toss up between American and British Vogue because both make equal sense to me. She is a British royal indeed, but still an American.

UK Vogue can have her tbh. Actually, they must have her. Though she’s not as positively receieved as Kate, so we’ll so. But her pregnancy, a royal baby, fits the UK Vogue storyline well than the American one.

Duchess Meghan is definitely getting a Vogue cover. I think June is too early, as I think both of those issues are locked in and done. Would be a real coup if Anna got her first, but I'm sure Edward is working overtime too. In America it would be a huge seller, especially with black and biracial women. Anna better get on this.

I don’t either honestly. I think that the “royal hype” is somewhat dying out. Sure you will always have people who care about them and will always respect their positions, but most American millennials are not concerned with British politics. And with most millennials staying home until they’re almost 30, along with putting off children until their 30s, it’s not fitting for America at this time. I mention millennials because it seems that they are the target audience for Vogue nowadays.
