Why a new face can't score a US Vogue September issue anymore??! That would be more interesting than all these girls with a Fall Fashion cover under their belt. Hate when Vogue turns into Anna's club, ugh. Beyoncé, Taylor, Rihanna, Kim, Reese... over and over.

Girl we'll be lucky if it's north of 300 pages at this point. Advertisers in general in the US are pulling back on spending because we're likely about to be/already are in a recession. I know that impacts "luxury" brands differently than it does general consumer brands, but I still think we'll be seeing even less advertising than the past couple years. Don't set yourself up for disappointment!

I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like if it was a big juicy exciting issue they'd be hyping it up already.

Jesus, what a sad spine. Likely altered in Photoshop because the text isn't centered and it looks blurry, but I suppose it isn't far from reality.

Couldn't care less about British royals in either of the Vogues. Meghan's last contribution to British Bazaar was a disaster not even Lindbergh's touch could save.

September Vogue 2020 was an art piece and 2021 was a spread with supermodels.

I think 2022 has to be a big name that sells really well, my top guess would have been Rihanna except she already covered US Vogue this year. Jennifer Lawrence makes the most sense. She is a huge name that is not really polarizing. She was gone for a while. She has a new movie coming out that she is producing. She got married and had a baby. She never released her wedding photos even though she had a big wedding with a ton of celebs and nobody knows her baby's name yet. I'm not saying she has to talk about any of that but it would be a "get" for Vogue because at least there is some kind of exclusive involved. Some kind of information they could get before anyone else. Anna likes exclusives because it gives people a reason to read the feature. Also that video that was posted above by the artist Aleqth has hearts and flames. Maybe this is reading too much into it but America's Sweetheart and Girl on Fire?

But Taylor also makes sense. All of the reasons I listed could also apply to Taylor especially if she got married secretly and/or is going to release a surprise 10th album.

Beyonce has Renaissance and Anna loves her so she can never be counted out. But she doesn't do interviews and Vogue got a lot of flack for letting her basically interview herself in 2018 because she doesn't trust any journalists.

The Britney guesses are delusional. I love her but what is there to say? She posted all her wedding photos on social media already and she is constantly calling out her family on Instagram. Her and her new husband are currently fighting with her ex husband on social media. The interview would not provide any new groundbreaking information. Again, I love Britney, but I don't think she makes sense for the cover.

The only other thing I could think is that Vogue does a group cover with a bunch of female celebs, kind of like Vanity Fair's Hollywood issue. That would sell really well.

UK GQ is the same cover as US GQ. Not even a global deal, just the exact same cover of Jacob replicated. For a September issue.

Nah, people who say that live in a bubble. She's the kind of famous almost no young actress is nowadays. Most of the others her age are only internet famous.

But something that occurred to me after I made my post here, is that Anna may have chosen the Obamas as the September cover stars. Michelle has a book coming out in the fall and a former POTUS has never covered the magazine. That would be historic and would explain the NDAs (assuming anything about the DeuxMoi tips were correct).

Yeah, but I don't consider any of the US Vogue covers in recent years to be "outstanding". No matter who covers it, I am not expecting greatness. I'm hoping for "not that bad". No disrespect to the August star but I don't like the photo chosen for the cover at all. I can't believe it's Vogue!

looks like the next issue of w magazine will be celebrating 50 years. Alex White posted on her Instagram that she was recently approached to choose the image she likes the most from the 16 years she worked at the magazine. Who is gonna be on the cover? I wish it was a group models
