Cowboy Boots

I can most def. seeing cowboy boots being the next mini trend

I dont know about anywere else but here in the uk cowboy boots were a massive trend in winter 2004 ... i doubt they will come around so soon ... but then again i surpose anything is possible :flower:

If you have worn them before/like them, wear them. But if you want to be trendy that's not the style to wear anymore.

I'm sick of them. They remind me of Sienna Miller, automatically. But that's my opinion.I actually did like them before they became a huge trend...

i love my boots - they've been a huge part of my look for twenty odd years. i will keep wearing them, trendy or not! i like them w/jeans only, as straight as possible, if bootcut, only slightly, and long, worn OVER them only please! they can look great w/a skirt too, but please keep em away from the mini over leggings look! and NEVER tuck yr jeans in. so tacky! it helps of course if you live in the West and ride horses...:innocent:

who cares?! theyre still my fave boots ever and i will wear them until they are prised off my dead body!

who cares really. i started wearing when i was 14 (now 21) and everyone in highschool was making fun of me. then everyone started wearing them. i you like'em and feel comfortable with'em who really cares, just wear'em as much as you can. anything in fashion comes and goes. but what you like makes your own style.

never have been as far as i am concerned...
trendy-yes
stylish-never

*just say no...!!!...:p

and if you want to know how and when to wear them-
that belongs in personal style...;)

I have a vintage pair but never really wore them.. it's just not my thing.

They can look nice though, just don't tuck your jeans into them.. :yuk: :innocent:

Seeing as Cowboy Boots have been around for ...oh....YEARS and YEARS!! I would not call them a "trend", but more like a classic!

However, they have become really POPULAR lately, and I am kind of tired of them at the moment, yet oddly...........considering getting a pair because I guess I like how they look.

They will always be in style, it just depends on the crowd who is wearing them ATM!!

I seriously hope not. The culprit of this trend was due to the simultaneous occurance of the bohemian look and Jessica Simpson. I agree with softgrey. Therefore, it will never be stylish.

In my opinion they are still in style. You've probably seen a lot of cowboy boots in magazines and celebrities wearing them.

Cowboy boots :D - wonderful footwear. A good pair will, if you look after them, look after you for years. Polished up the look superb under regular trousers (pants) yet can serve you well just foolin' around at the weekend.

Maybe gals can get away with wearing them with their jeans tucked in, but guys certainly can't.

My personal preference is to see the jeans over the boot shaft. I live in mine outside of work.

i tuck mine in my jeans, just bought a new pair over the weekend too. they look classy and outlive any teeny-bopper trend they're attached to.

To be honest, there never was style. I've always seen the cowboy and cowgirl deal as sort of for the type who rides horses and owns a stable, or does some heavy-duty work in a ranch. Outside of that, this is as worse than tucking pants into boots. I'm not the cowboy type. Don't assume that just because I'm from Texas, that I have a ranch or some cattle. I've been so over this American Western deal, especially that of cowgirls. The farthest I've seen most girls go is just wear a T-shirt with some sort of American Western theme, and that's it. I don't really see cowgirl boots, the cowgirl hat (unless you're part of the Tejano community here, who usually are active in western-style fashion), or anything like that. This has presumably been another call to attention, much like the ladies who claim to be surfing divas. I can get used to the surfing trend, but the cowgirl stuff has to go.

I'd probably recommend a unique cowgirl or western look with a specially-paterned button-down shirt, some comfortable (not glamourous or trendy) jeans, and find a nice hat. Go with the cowgirl deal if you wish. Just be sure to LOOK the part of a cowgirl than just pretend to be one. If not, the whole deal is dead. Can you dig that?

sorry, I have just seen this look done so many times that I just can't stand it anymore..

A lot of fashion is the way you carry it.. on some poeople, it looks pathetic, and on others the exact same clothes can look beautiful. If these have always been your special pair of boots, if you like the look and would wear it with confidence and happiness, then by all means, go ahead! But if you are desperatly trying to copy some celebrity's stylist's style.. I woulden't consider that much of a success in my book..
