Cowl Necks

Hi. I'm new here, don't know anything about fashion, and hope I'm posting this in the right place.

I'll be 50 this year, but I'm told I look much younger. I have a lot of cowl neck blouses and sweaters in my closet. Are these out of style now? Should I toss them?

I have a lot of trouble shopping, because I am not a conservative person, I live in a conservative town and there seems to be nothing in the stores for people of any age except if you're 18 or 75. There's nothing in between. I thought I would start, though, by getting rid of the things in my closet that are out of style.

But you know what they say, it's not what you wear, it's HOW you wear it that's important!

Yep, it's how you wear it that makes the difference...

When I was in high school, we had this teacher who was incredibly aware of all the current trends, and she chose to ignore them when they didn't suit her personal style... And she was always incredibly stylish!
