I use that too and it must make my eye skin smoother b/c when I put make-up on it doesnt cake or collect.

Ps: I have really oily skin in my tzone (forehead, nose, chin...) and dry skin everywhere else.

I love creme de la mer...I also use borghese cura c at night. I switch between the two and love the results. My skin is a little dry so I am not sure how it would work on oily skin.

I have recently began using the whole line of La Mer skin care, it looks like my skin has dramatically changed for the better.but I not sure if i blinded by their reputation and the cost... is it really worth it or am I going crazy?

ok after a lot of critics bout LA MER being not so effective. i finally bought it and have used it now for 2 months. i can NOW say that it DID work amazingly and got rid almost to 100% of my dark spots.!!!!! my skin is even and my mum is even in shock. nothing so far had helped but LA MER.

i had also tried SHISEIDO but the effects werent the same for ME.

i bought another pot of la MER

I love La Mer. I have combo skin and now I don't find the oily areas are so oily later on in the day. I used to have a big problem with that - nothing worked to help even my skintone out.

For people who say it is too rich and thick, you're probably not using it properly. You just need a little bit, and you have to warm it up in between your fingers for like half a minute and it will turn into a thinner consistency. You can't just take it out of the pot and slap it on.

I did all of that and still broke out on my cheeks-that's never happened to me -ever! I was very diappointed because I had heard so many good things and was really looking forward to using the product

so I have switched to Chanel and Murad but use la mer under the eyes. i think everyone has had good results w/ the eye crm but the face cream varies...

What do you all think about this "miracle" line of ultra-expensive skin products? I think that it must be pretty popular these days because I got a sample of it in my (men's) Neiman Marcus new card holder gift bag. Has anyone used it and have anything to say about how good it is?

I have used creme de la mer and while it is a good moisturizer I don't think its worth the price unless your skin is really messed up in some way. It was actually invented by a chemist working at NASA after suffering a chemical burn, he couldnt find the proper moisturizer to rejuvenate his skin so he invented the now famous moisturizer.

If you're looking for a good moisturizer try Kiehl's Abyssine or Lycopene moisturizers, they are about as good in my opinion and around 1/5 the price of La Mer. They sell Kiehl's at Neiman Marcus also and are usually quite generous with the samples if you ask =)

I have tried it so I can offer an opinion on this. I think theres nothing really miraculous about this product. Its definitly not worth the price. This may be a good product if your skin has been severely burn or something along the line but if you just have minor skin problems (wrinles, zits, etc) then use that money to go see your dermatologists

My skin is very very sensitive When it becomes worst, I need to see dermatologists to control the redness and dryness. I've tried La Prairie, Sjal before, and found cream de la mer is the best.

Cream de La Mer

Is it really as good as it is advertised? I have heard of various celebrities swearing by it. Anyone on here use it or know someone who does? Thoughts??
