Crocs

Thanks (?) for posting those flats. I am ashamed to say I think they're cute. And they look comfy. I'd buy the aqua ones. They're my favorite color.:ninja:

i hate them, i think they're hideous, they might even be worse than uggs, if that's at all possible. if you wear them for function, that might be one thing, but my god.

About the flats, I know they are the same brand but they are pretty much completely different to the original shoes being discussed here. the flats are cute to me, cause they are just simple flats... however the other ones are completely different aside from the same material imo :flower:

I hate these! I see people wearing these all over the city, and I want to rip them off their feet. For gardening...yes. For wearing in public, no! Today I saw a mom in blue crocs, her son in blue crocs and her daughter in pink crocs. Poor kids!

Hey, if some company wants to make shoes that can get wet and not change consistancy, are comfortable, actually look good, and don't cost hundreds of dollars, I'm totally game, but so far that sort of thing doesn't exist, so until then, we have Crocs and other similar really-ugly shoes.

i don't like them. they're so :yuk: and doesn't seem comfortable at all.

omg crocs are HUUUUUUUUUUUGEEEE here, I dont like them, but I do think they look cute on little kids ^^ My friend has a pair and I tried them on they are comfy but I would never wear them..

Oh dear.. I think they're ugly (nooo, they're Canadian? That explains why I saw some at a locate ROOTS store!). They are everywhere in the malls here. I think it's going to get popular... I don't know why.

It's true, I haven't seen 1 teenager wear those... Crocs except middle aged ladies!

What's next? wooden shoes, haha.

This trend is really taking off so which is why i've moved this to trend spotting. Crocs is a canadian company (I believe) and not only are they EVERYWHERE in canada (and i think the states as well? though someone correct me if i'm wrong) they are now expanding into the UK with a LOT more distrubutors this season (including Harrods among others). This isn't so much a 'stylish' trend but it's definately on the streets.

They originate from Colorado, U.S. Not Canada. :flower:

the croc families crack me up! I wear mine to yoga and running quick errands here and there very close to home...i love crocs though! LOVE THEM!! because they are ugly and funky and comfy...I think they are just a cheaper version of berkinstock berkies... love those too! Those are actually more comfortable and supportive than crocs even though they are hard.

Croc's are so crazy. EVERYONE wears them, god, they're so hideous. In Georgetown today any tourist that wasn't wearing white trainers (with white tube socks) was wearing a Croc.

The only time I saw a Croc be cute was on my sisters best friends daughter, she had lilac Crocs and they were so cute on her 3 year-old feet!

I have tried them on though, out of curiosity, they are so effin' comfy. I just can't walk around with those things on my feet and still respect myself!

eww, I think it's looks even uglier when someone wears crocs with socks! (I saw someone on the bus the other day).

sounds like a sight  :flower:

 these have hit mainstream in england now they are in most f the shoe shops ...

and also we have this morning prgramme called "this morning" .. which is a bit like a magazine in a show .. hard to explain. any ways the guy persenting the fashion bit was talking about them .. and he was wearing them and they looked so damn stupid .. but to be fair to the poor guy he hated them as well.

I can remember seeing these in a magazine about 2 years ago and thining omg they look so so so stupid, like something hospital staff would wear. but anyways i thort they'll never hit it off in the uk no way. but now they are in all the shops :( .. ive yet to see someone actually wearing them though .. so my sanity is ok for the moment.

Haha I can't believe people are wearing them as an actual shoe as opposed to work wear. When I first saw them in the shoes I was so confused and even more so seeing people wear them in public. I think maybe it's the comfort factor and people lust after them then one brave person wears them in public so those who have secretly been lusting after them see it as a acceptable that and I think a few celebrities have been seen wearing them too.
