Does anyone know how to do hair like this?

I do my hair like that all the time. I have naturally wavy hair and I use sunsilk beach wave spray on it. You just spray it onto damp hair and scrunch it a little bit. If you're hair is straight, you could try curling it wide a wide barrel curler and then run your fingers through it and mess it up a little bit.

for hair like that use curling shampoo and when you get out of the shower comb through your hair with your fingers rather than with a brush to keep the natural waves of your hair..then twist mini strands around your finger (if that makes sense) and just leave it to airdry..or while your hair is semi dry still a little damp put it in a tight bun and release in a few hours..

i hate using product hence why i didnt mention any ;)

What kind of products (shampoo/conditioner/styling) does everyone use for their curly hair? ^_^

I use Coolaulin conditioner from Lush everyday and once a week I use shampoo from Schwarzkopf against dandruff. I find my hair looking much better when I don't use shampoo daily, weekly seems to work fine for me. As a stylingproduct I use some random gel wich doesn't get hard.

i like paul mitchell's hair product (as it moisturizes amazzzzing and its pretty well priced for the quality..much cheaper than most salon shampoos) ..i've also used biosilk but i still prefer paul mitchell and i have a bottle of coconut oil (it comes ina spray bottle) my hair is really dry and putting product on it makes it worse so after i shower i spray ONCE into my hair and just let it air dry.

Okay. To say that I have a lot of hair is an understatement. Since elementary school, I've been known as 'the girl with the hair'. To give you a better idea:

And there you have it. Now, I love it, I don't want to cut it (I never have, as you can probably tell), and some have described it as 'built in individuality'. But there's is nothing that can be done with it. Its just not versatile at all. I was thinking about dying it just a shade darker. I have really dark eyes, and my wardrobe consists of a ton of black, so I think a nice, rich brown would be better all around. I am traveling/going to college soon, and I need a change. Most interesting hairstyles are either too hard to do, or they just plain don't work. And I've never come across any products that were exactly dreams. Do you guys have any tips/suggestions? A good conditioner would be a great starting point. I've been using Pantene's Curls Conditioner for the good part of ten years now, and its okay, but I think some of you could recommend something better.

^Def TIGI Curls Rock Products..mainly the amplifier cream. Although it its a little pricey and with all your hair you might have to use quite a bit. But it does wonders with curls, also Paul Mitchell has great conditioners. :flower:

ps your hair is gorgeous!

^^ i second paul mitchell, and girl if you think you got too much hair to handle you can always get your hair thinned at the salon :)

Thanks for the advice you guys. I'll definitely try out the Paul Mitchell conditioner.

I have thought about thinning it, but I'm not entirely sure exactly what it is they do.
