got the junya trousers back today - they look fantastic. I am going to wear them tomorrow & post a pic of them (if I can manage). I am so pleased.... :P :P

YAY helena!!!...so excited that it worked out!!!

can't wait for a pic...

Back in September I bought a sleeveless t from Urban Outfitters that I'd been eyeing for a while but didn't get cause I don't like wearing sleeveless tees. I got the idea that since I liked the graphic I'd buy it and cut out that part of the tee and sew it onto the back of one of my denim jackets.....long story short I've got a denim jacket with a panel of t-shirt with the sacred heart printed (I think that's what it's called) on it. I've gotten so many compliments on it....I'll try to steal my brother's camera and post pics.

took a picture yesterday but haven't downloaded it yet onto my laptop - will try & do this later tonight.

cool!

evexa- gorgeous dress! you did so well!

I like the idea of painting designs on fabric... maybe I will do that to my new coat. If its ugly, I only have to wear it for a few days anyhow... :P

Evexa ! Nice dress

I've never customised anything before. I'm afraid I'll ruin the clothes if I do.

Changing handles on bags works for me too...

adding a fur colar is something I also like doing. It makes your garment look completely differnent - like having 2..

i was in this shop the other day and saw i cute pair of pumps and they had buttons on them. they were so cute.:p

im thinkin of buying some canvas pumps and putting on buttons myself i have some quite interesting vintage looking ones in various colours.

i would have to wear them when its abit warmer though!

I just met a girl who went to a Diesel workshop thing. She was taught how Diesel does washes and all that stuff. Here's how they make their t-shirts "vintage"...

1) Get a container full of water.
2) Pour salt into the container.
3) Put the shirt(s) into the container.
4) Let sit for however long you want to achieve the desired effect.

Not rocket science, is it?

How dye denim and create a worn effect

First of all i would like to apologise if this post is in the wrong forum,

anyway i would like to create my own pair of personalised jeans and i would therefore like to create a effect the same as the diesel laundry bug (772) or any similar effects that i can use any help will be appreciated thanks.

Sweatshirt Bolero / Shrug (How to)

I wish I had tons of spending money. I dont  . So I deconstruct, reconstruct and try to work with my existing wardrobe. Anyway, my latest project was turning a sweatshirt into a bolero type thingy take a look. I will be attempting to make a shrug out of a sweater later.

The best part of all this, is NO SEWING!

awsome!!! :woot: All I have to do is find the right material... Thanks for the great idea!
