30mins bike
45mins treadmill
15mins stretch

how long can you stick with an exercise routine before your body stops responding ??

i love this bike/treadmill combo and i try to switch up the speed/incline but i hear talk about needing to switch up your routine and am wondering how often and if so what changes need to be made ??

Yesterday- Laps in the olympic pool & 4 mile fast paced walk
Today- about to hit the pool
 
15 minutes on the treadmill (alternating between 3.5 speed with 1.5 incline & 3.5 speed with 2.0 incline)
15 minutes on the treadmill (3.4 speed with 3.0 incline)
15 minutes on the elliptical
15 minutes on the bike (5.75 miles!

& a lot more walking

13 minutes on the bike

20 minute strength training

& I was walking around all day

Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle over the weekend so I have to take it easy for the next few days. :(

today - 30 mins bike, 30 mins treadmill, 10 mins weights, 20 mins stretch
 
1 hr jogging with a friend (rather slow, but the heat nearly killed us)
 
i have a question. I go to the gym as much as possible but I usually do mainly cardio and 2 a week pilates. I don't do as much weight as I would like to because of time issues. Instead I like to do some stuff at home in the mornings, but what can I do to exercise my back(both lower and upper) at home?
