Daily Exercise

today is actually my day off..
but i woke up really early.. and it was so beautiful outside.. i decided to go for a walk..
ended up walking for 40 minutes...
i love starting the day with a walk and/or run.. especially when the weather is this nice..

i completely agree. my body's a bit tired with my season having started 'n all, but i love doing that during the off season. i love starting the day feeling as if i've really accomplished something, and the endorphins definitely give me a skip to my step :flower:

you all do so much exercise god i feeel so ashamed am i the only one who does no exercise what so ever or no sports lol ok... so maybe i am :(

got up at 5:45, skateboarded to the beach (about a mile) surfed for an hour , skateboarded home, lalala got ready for school, skateboarded to school (maybe 2 miles), played soccer during my free period which was about 45 minutes, skateboarded back to the beach after school and surfed for another 2 hours. I think i get enough exercise just doing what I usually do, i've never been in a gym besides the one at my school lol. I do do sit ups and crunches every night though, about 300 before I go to sleep.

oh tiamaria :winkiss: , i feel as if i'm cheating by writing down my practice workouts. because honestly, i'm not this motivated on my own. in the offseason, i'm a slug-bug and chowing down on the potato chips and lounging on the couch (snuggled up with a good book) like the rest of 'em.

i bet you do a lot more than you think you do. just because you may not go to the gym or don't purposefully pull on your sneakers for a run doesn't mean you don't exercise. i bet you walk during your day, clean the house, and eat pretty well. give yourself a pat on the back, please? here's a flower! :flower:

wow!! i really want to be able to skateboard. i can snowboard, but i think i'm afraid of scraping myself on concrete. i am accident prone enough on the field. i think you're awesome!!! when did you start skateboarding?

(and see, tiamaria, you don't need to go to the gym to get your exercise :) )

yay to all of us!!

ps. how do you quote two different posts in the same reply?

thanks haha, i've been doing it since i was really little, i've always been sort of a tomboy so the fear thing wasn't much of an issue for me. but thats probably not a good thing because i have tons of scars that probably could have been avoided with a little bit of caution!

Did a half hour run (with a bit of walking). It was a faabulous run so nice outside! I haven't been able to run for about a week and half now because I injured my neck/shoulder sooo painful. Anyhow, even before then I didn't run TOO regularly.
If I were to run half hour maybe 5-6 times a week, would there still be possible weight loss?
prep: finals are killing me too, keeping me cooped up inside studying. Now I have 5 and half hours to cram for chem before my tutor comes. I hate chem!
haha. when I was out, I ran into an (ex?) friend from elementary school, who goes to a nearby high school, and it was so awkward. me= rolled out of bed, sweaty, hair a mess her=with her bf, make-uped, perfect hair and clothes.. ugh. not a good run in.

:( my achilles is very bruised right now and still a bit swollen.
i was cleated from the base of my calf to my heel yesterday during the first drill. :( :(

45 mins of 'power 90' workout tape

i really like this thing...!.. :ninja:

me too. actually, today it was much better. i still didn't practice (but went, yay team!) just in case it's on the verge of something bigger. instead, i went and tried water running for the first time. and did a few sprints too! it was fantastic. i think i'm going to try to go to the pool tomorrow as well.

hopefully i'm good for next week. our 1st tournament is next weekend!
