Daily Exercise

Ran 8 k yesterday, 300 abs, 2 mins plank, lots of stretching & hip exercises
today i'm going to walk 12 k in MBTs
 
went to gym class on wednesday and friday.
Yesterday: 30 min fast walking, sit-ups and leg-lifts
 
God, I need to exercise a lot more...
...my parents have a rowing machine and a stationary bike but I am never motivated enough to use them.
Once I move I'm going to join a gym, I think.

How do you guys stay motivated to exercise? I need tipppssss :(

Today
stretched... walked 1/2 mile, ran 2 1/2, walked 1/2... stretched
plus I mowed the yard which took about an hour (riding mower;) :p )

cutxpaste - I think for starters you need to look for an activity you enjoy and start doing that.. whether it's jump roping, jumping jacks, horseback riding, rock climbing, etc.. and once you see the results you don't want those muscles to go away! This is my program my PT gave me..just to save me typing it out every time I post here!

Last night:

Resistance :muscles:
4x15 lunges each leg with 5lb dumbell in each hand (called a clock lunge - lunge forward to 12 o'clock, then 1 o'clock, then 3'o clock and then backwards to 6'o clock. Switch to other leg and repeat. This is tough!)
Adductor Machine
Glute squeeze on ball
Side leg raise on ball
Donkey kick on ball
Bicep curls on incline bench
Tricep extensions
Chest press on incline
Close grip lat pulldown
Push ups on ball
Lat raises

Then 35 mins treadmill (incl warm up and cool down)

3x10 crunches
3x10 obliques
3x10 reverse crunches
3 x 10 back extensions

I should do more crunches but they're done continuously so it's tough!!

I'm tired even typing that! :doh:
 
bonchic dear can you repost your little drawing man so I can see your exercizes? I'm at a completely loss as to where he is currently in the jumble of this thread. Feeling quite guilty about not going to the gym for the past two weeks. I had surgery on my stomach two weekends ago and so obviously couldn't go last week but it's difficult to know how to ease onesself back into this sort of thing. :flower:

made myself:p I might just take the day off from the rest
of the exercises.

last night 20 on the skier
30 bike
45 weights and stretches on exercise ball

i use to run 45 mins for my cardio but my knees and legs are totally stuffed : (
 
tonight i will do the same routine. i am focusing more on legs and bum at the moment. especially my bum, man that needs to tone up. so lots of lunges and squats
 
^me too; definitely more work on legs & backside..

my upper body is fine & dandy, but my legs looks skinny in comparison..time to beef it up for the summer!

Yesterday, my full workout. Today, nothing so far but I'm toying with going to the gym for some cardio. I think I may be derailed by the housework and chocolate rice crispie treats in the fridge though :p
 
1 hr mowing the lawn
30 min tae bo
15 min weights
2x 45 crunches
several other leg and arm exercises

my only problem is eating healthy.
