Daily Exercise

My day off today.

but Im definitely getting on the epplictal and the bike tomorrow.
 
2 more weeks with the cast on my leg....as soon as its off I am driving myself to the gym and sauna for 100000000000 hours

sitting on your bum is not good for the waistline
 
I have a question for those who run. When do you run mostly? In the morning? What hour do you get up if you run in the morning? The thing is that I want to begin running but usually I get up at 7a.m. and if I run I should get up at 6? That's terrible!
 
^^ Well I usually wake up at 5:30 and start running between 6:00 and 6:15. That's just what works for me personally.;) Good luck:flower:
 
ive jst started running with my friend!!! we did 15 minutes it sounds like bearly anything but really running for a full 15 minutes ispretty hard!

my muscles are so sore but i felt so GOOD! and fresh afterwards! it was amazing!! i get up at 6:45 and run from 7-7:15 then do my usualy morning stuff then go to school. i only get up 15 minutes earlier to do it.

i hope i keep this enthusiasum, wish me luck!
 
walked 4 miles

tomorrow definately to the gym and jogging
 
2.5 miles on the elipitical
over 8 miles on the bike
and about a mile on the rowing machine.

My thighs have been on fire all day.
 
Thanks Bonchic and Yasmine :-) It sounds so inspiring that I'd definitely try! If Bonchic can get up at 5:30 so I definitely can get up at 6:45!
 
Went for a run tonight..don't know how far but it was a hot and sweaty run for sure! Lots of stretching and crunches afterwards

delerith - if the mornings don't work well for you then you can always
try the evenings... I just do the mornings because #1 if I don't do it first
thing then I always get "too busy" with other things and #2 it get's really
hot in texas in the summertime (90's-100's) so it's really hard and you have
to be careful about not getting a heat stroke (it happens alot here during
the summertime).

Today so far....
walked about 1/8 mile or more, ran 3+ miles, walked about 1/8 mile or more
 
I had this conversation yesterday and wondered what you guys would think.

I get up at 5:45 and change into my workout clothes and am in the gym like within 5 minutes of getting up.

My friend said he prefers to "wake up" a bit..........give himself like 20-30 minutes before going down to the gym.

He thinks his workout is better on the days where he waits to workout. I dont really notice a difference.

Thoughts?
 
I have to go with your friend on that one. I think it takes my body a little to catch up to being awake. I used to have cross country and swim practice in the mornings and I was absolutely worthless at those practices. I always did better too at meets that were after school rather than on a Saturday morning.
 
Before lunch:
60 min strength training
45 min spinning

Later, after dinner:
45 min core

oh man did I workout a ton today. I jumped up and down during the matches, switched the channels, and walked from the kitchen to the living room.


gym tomorrow :ninja: ...and maybe a long outdoors run on top of that

i prefer evenings, after the sun has gone down... helps me collect my thoughts, wind down, meditate, relax etc... :flower:

Thank you for all the answers. I wanter to start running today morning, but it was raining heavily :-( May be tomorrow! It's hot here in the evenings too :-) So, in summer, mornings are better choice, though I think I should try mornings and evenings both :) and choose. I like the idea of evening running Sweets! But there are too many people outside on evenings, and dogs.....

Same here, everytime I push myself to work out early in the morning, my workout isn't as good as the evening. Working out in the evening is just a relaxing time to contemplate the day etc and helps me feel stronger not only physically but emotionally. But today I didnt have time to fit my whole workout in and I feel guilty :shock:
 
My daily exercise would include:
-Jogging for 1/2 an hour
- Go to hiphop class
- Yoga

Thats about it...
