Wow, Hip! And everyone else for that matter! Well done!

I rejoined my gym a few months ago and I have been going at least once a week... These last few weeks I've been pretty good, I go every other day religiously which equals weights every four days and aerobic excercise every four days. Lots of stretching on the aerobics days.

It feels so good to have gotten into it and really turned it into a habit - finally!

:woot:

1hour walk with the dog
5 mins elliptical (couldnt stand more)
lots of housework and lugging potted plants to a friends house

4 miles biking
1 mile power walking
5 minutes on the rowing machine
stretching

I didn't do anything yesterday but I motivated myself to go to the gym today:

30 minutes on the treadmill (alternated between 3.3 speed with no incline & 3.5 speed with no incline)
15 minutes on the elliptical
15 minutes on the bike (3 miles)
stretching

I felt lazy at first but I made myself go to the gym again:

15 minutes on the treadmill (3.5 speed with 3.0 incline)
15 minutes on the elliptical
30 minutes on the bike (6.40 miles! :woot:)
stretching

I'm so glad that I ended up going; I feel pretty good. :D

I've just realised I haven't posted in here since Tuesday. Since I post all my workouts in my fitness blog I guess I'm just doubling up anyway; still, it's nice to see what everyone else is doing.

Have had a good workout week and made some good progress, like starting doing leg weights again, 20 weeks now since breaking my leg. Another step closer to running again!

Wednesday I did 60mins on the elliptical.
Thursday I did my usual upperbody weights, and added in leg weights. :buzz:
Friday I did a hard, fast 60mins on the elliptical.
Saturday was 90mins on the elliptical, same level, slower spm.
Today, more upper and lower weights.

Hey have a full leg cast from snowboarding... any idea how to keep both my legs in shape??

lalabelle - if you're injured you really should rest it - unfortunately there's not much you can do until you're out of a cast - anything you try to do could be detrimental to recovery, and a badly healed leg will be far more of a hindrance to you than a weak one.

Yesterday: 100km bikeride from Rotorua to The Mount

Today: Erm, hobbling round Uni :D

Your workouts are insane - you're an exercise fiend! Fair play to you, twenty minutes on the elliptical and I'm bored crazy, so I really admire your dedication to working out :flower: I hope the rest of your recovery goes really well!

Today, 40 mins walk to my pilates class, and then a one hour pilates class.

I'm breaking quite a sweat here trying to talk myself out of attacking the chocolate in the kitchen, does that count? :innocent:
