Daily Exercise

would people suggest running one of the most effective ways for fat-loss?
I would say for me it was an effective way for fat- loss, and it's simple because you don't need equipment. But I hated it so much, so I turned to other things instead. But it was one of the most effective ways for me personally, just a shame I hated it.

Thanks for posting the video Filipe! I never do any strength exercises because I'm scared I'll do them incorrectly... but if Britney can do that, so can I.

This is basically what I've been doing for the past couple weeks... but I only went today this week:
30 min bike
30 min elliptical
10 min walk/cool down
5 min stretch
(And now I can add the ab workout to my routine!)

this thread slowed down since summer started, naturally...hehe

10 miles on elliptical tonight! legs like JELLO... HELLO!

im gonna try and go back to my everyday or at least 5 days a week routine. get my $$$'s worth because gym membership aint cheap!

 nooo .. I have always been into fitness. I used to run + sprint when I was younger and it gave me a lot of muscle in my legs. I wouldnt recommend it.

Skipping works better - it makes you lose fat from the places you have the most fat. The good thing is that you can do it anywhere, even if you are traveling. But make sure you wear shoes to protect your knees from the impact. :flower: You can start with about <500 skips and work yourself up from there.

I used to run for exercise, and like you I quit because of my dislike for it. My mother seems to have passed on her bad knees to me, because running has a tendency to completely destroy mine! I now walk and dance, but neither seem to be equivalent to how great running was for my body.

I have a skipping rope!! I nice nike one :)

I hate the idea of running around my neighbourhood simply because it's near main roads which are always full...

Skipping sounds more private I really hadn't considered it... :)
Thank you :flower: sooo much Snow-white!

I do 25 minutes on the stationary bike every day (since my regular bicycle needs extreme work that I don't have the money for) some crunches and yoga stretches if I'm up to it. I really should do more.. because I really need to tone up. Anyone have suggestions for toning up your upper arms? I can't afford to go the gym or buy equipment so.. easy at home exercises? Haha.

running for 40min.
it was early morning and the city was still silence.
it was so lovely.

Although it might appear minute next to your reports of exercise... I did 5 minutes of skipping and now I'm off for a 7 hour shift at work!!! AHHHHH.
