Daily Exercise

It´s because not everybody has a daily rotine like you, that´s why. I wouldn´t have time to workout with your daily rotine too.
Maybe you can find some time on the weekends.

Everyone's schedules vary. I'm so lucky I'm able to work out every single day. I dont have to worry about overcrowding at gyms because I go late in the morning, and I run home from the gym because it's only 3 miles away.

How do you all find the time to workout? I am exhusted and hungry after work! Where do you get the energy?
I work 9am-6pm, by the time I get home it is 8ish, cook dinner, then eat by 10pm. After I shower I am ready to sleep by 11pm. How do you guys do it!?!

I work full time, and have a baby girl to look after but I do still manage to find time. The way I see it, I have more energy when I workout, so it helps me more than hinders me to find the 45 minutes/hour 6 days a week. Normally I work from 7:30-3:30 every day (with around an extra hour or so travel time to and from) and if I come home and don't work out I feel incredibly lethargic and don't do much. If I come home, and then workout, I have a lot more energy, find that I'm motivated to do extra things around the house & then sleep well and wake up with energy in the morning. But everyone has a different lifestyle and a different schedule. I think if you find the time (even just 30 minutes) it will benefit you with more energy :flower: Or alternatively you could just find little ways to alter your life as it is, like ride to work, take the stairs, run and dance around while you cook your dinner etc. etc. Everything counts ^_^

Thursday: 45 minute run w. ground & stair sprints
Saturday: 1 hour pilates class

I was really feeling the heat on Thursday afternoon  I think it's going to be a hard summer! But we have daylight savings so it'll be easier to workout later at night when the sun is up. Also, I'm working body pump classes back into my routine next week :muscles:

WOOT go Belowen!!!

I got my yearly gym membership week before last woot!! and worked out once last week.. i was at uni doing a major assignment until 10pm each night it killed me!

Friday night was my 21st so we went into heavy drinking mode... and i practically binge ate most of my Saturday, so tomorrow (Sunday) im doubling my gym time and upping the intensity level to burn off all i ate and drank!!!

im thinking of picking up pump they say its best for Fat loss... is that true?

3k run yesterday and today plus usual ab workout.

I didn't exercise at all during the month of September and I'm already seeing the effects. So I'm getting my butt back in gear!

I'm fifteen and I plan on going back to the gym on Tuesday... I used to go five days
a week but I was told that could hurt my growth... Any insight towards that? How
often should I work out?!

yes, it can hurt your growth.

you could go every single day of week! the problem is not if you go often there.
the problem is what you do there!
There´s machines to work the legs that can´t do & you can´t lift weight too much heavier for you at least for example if you are doing biceps with dumbells standed on the ground, it can hurt your back if it´s too much weight for you.
Anyway, talk with your trainer at the gym about it & he/she will know what to say.

Just an advice...If I was your age, I would start to do only swimming until like the 18-20 & then you could start with the gym, with the swimming you can work legs, backs, chest, everything! just my opinion.

Well, I started actually with the gym when I was almost 18, but now Im not doing gym, but during that time I was aware about what I couldnt do at the gym because of the growth problem.

Walk to and from Uni-30 mins
Morning run-20 minutes

Want to go on a second run later,I'm feeling active for once ^_^

Ergh, I am horrible! I never exercise! Ever.
Im only 16 tho, Im pretty active walking around school and everything, but I never really exercise...

Sunday: 45 minute run w. ground & stair sprints (20 pushups & 10 pilates core situps)

Monday: 30mins cardio (power walking with high incline)
1hr of weights, legs, arms, shoulders, buttocks, thighs, abs...

:)

45 min on elliptical, 30min walking on 15% incline on treadmill. crunches.

Does anybody else feel like doing the elliptical bulks up you thighs?
I like doing the elliptical as cardio, but i really feel like my thighs got bigger through it.

the problem is that try to run (and i do sometimes), but to me it is so much more challenging than the elliptical.

sometimes i think it is a loose-loose situation :-(
when i don't do the elliptical and i run for cardio and just can't do it long enough, and when i do the elliptical, i feel bulky in the legs...

anyway, since i am new here (and sooo happy to be FINALLY here), i have to say that i love to workout.

I didn't go for a run today cos there was too much snow but I did join a gym for the first time ever ^_^

i need to lose wieght!!!
i keep on losing and gaining weight...
i first lost weight wen my boyfriend dumped me... went from 104 kilos to 80 kgs in 4 months... i used to run 5 huge laps of my complex(1 and a half hrs)...and about 40 laps of the pool..and go for jazz dance classes everyday.. and only eat one meal a day.. but i couldn't keep up with other aspects of my life...so i stopped..and now i have gained most of my weight back...
can anyone help me by telling me certain exercises which wont consume most of my day..so i can work and be fit too???

Can anyone tell me exercises that I can do in my bedroom?
I know it's stupid but my mum won't let me go out jogging or anything (she seems to be "worried about me" because I'm "loosing weight").
Especially ones that work on my legs (get them thinner, I have massive legs from trampolining...)
:)

get into a gym & do 1 hour & half of cardio every day. using treadmill, elliptical & dumbells to your arms...anyway, your trainer there, would tell you the training that you should do.

Wednesday: 1 hour pilates class

I think that you need to work for at least 45 minutes each session to see results - but keep in mind each person is different. I would work in cardio/stretching for most of your sessions, maybe a quick walk until you find you can run w. nice long stretching & warm down sessions. I would also 'mix it up', try to work in a few different classes to keep your body guessing. Spinning is excellent cardio, but if you want to tone and develop strength, perhaps body pump & pilates/yoga might benefit you too. Don't get into too much of a routine, or your body will adapt. Always try to find ways of pushing yourself harder - but remember to know your limits... You don't want to go too hard too fast and end up doing yourself damage :flower:

Today i did 20 min on the treadmill (lame, i know) and 1 hour pilates on the Allegro-machine.
