I usually always run outside on the hard pavement, but once I went in the hotel exercise room to run on the treadmill, I could have went another hour at least, but I stopped at an hour because I wanted to see some sports and eat. My point is treadmill is a break from pavement, and you burn more calories since you can go much longer, I wish I had my own.

BTW what is the longest time anyone has ran?

Mine was one hour and thirty minutes for ten miles, if you do the math that ain't fast, but that was one of the first runs they made us do for cross country practice.

Do we have any marathon runners here?

I didn't run, I walked at 2.6 at with increasing the incline every two minutes. For example I did 9% incline for two minutes, then back down to 1% for another two minutes, then 6% back down to 2%, back up to 7%. I find I burn more calories doing that then actually running for 5 minutes straight. I can't run for very long, I'm sure I could if I worked up to it but it's kind of boring for me.

Had a totally disappointing week this week for exercise
Monday I didn't have time for a full 30 min run so just did 20, and then my pilates was cancelled so had a fit ball class instead which was actually really hard.
Tuesday - NOTHING
Wednesday - half hour run and an hour of pilates
Thursday - NOTHING
Friday - NOTHING
And today I felt yuk and forced myself to go to them gym managed about 20 mins cardio (rower/stepper) and some weights and then gave up.
Tomorrow HAS to be good I need to do a 50 min run (as per my programme) and I'm dreading it...

I'm in a bit of funk with exercise at the moment, and its really frustrating me.
