power walking for one hour.

Just little question:

wish do you look better RUNNING or POWER WALKING?

Saturday, June 20
58 miles road bike (about 93km for everyone outside the US)
3 hours, 10 minutes
102 degrees F (about 39 degrees C) outside with 104 degrees F heat index.

Sunday, June 21
45 miles road bike
about 2.5 hours
101 degrees F with 108 heat index

And according to The Weather Channel, this heat is going to continue all week. It was in the upper 90s all last week. This is the kind of heat that can kill my appetite. Oh, well. I can gain it back in the winter...

This heat already killed my appetite  need to take some pills because I can't continue eating so less.

Yesterday, 45 min swimming.

I've had an awful pain in my knee for 3 months and after swimming a few times it's almost gone... Woah!!

I don't get your question. You mean, which one is the best sport to have a nice body? If this is what you mean, I'd say running. You'll see results faster. But if you can't run, keep on power walking, it's good for you as well.

Monday 15th

WOW i do not even know what i was writing there. sorry, i messed up my post.:unsure:

my question:

so you did understood my question right and thankyou from answer.

^No problem! :)
I would say that running is better only if you don't have any ankle/knees/back problems. Running can be hard on your body. If your health is good, run. If you feel pain in your joints when you run, you should do power walking instead.

Today: 45 min swimming.

By the way Filipe, how long do you usually swim? I never count the laps, I'd like to know how far away I am from you in the training department! ;)

That last time I did around 65 laps, I was there ± 1:10 h. Actually it was the only training I did that number of laps, I usually do 40-45 sometimes less, depends. I wanted to go more times per week swimming but I can't never do it. hopefully I will start going more to develop more. when I go swimming is really to get exhausted at the max if not I'm not doing anything there. And judging for the number of laps I did and for that time, I still have much to do. sometimes I go one time per week, sometimes one per 2 weeks. so that's pretty much it. It's important for you to count the laps to see if you are improving or not. :flower:
