Dario Vitale - Designer, Creative Director of Versace

Because he never had chance to do so and doesn’t look like anyone wants to give him that at Versace. I’d honestly give him a go and then let his collection speak for himself instead of replacing him 2 months before…
he had a chance & they did not like it........ he is not fired yet so we don't even know.

if he left not on good terms with prada then even more reason ......his contract is some millions anyways let's not weep for new millionaires.

its what gucci should have done with ancora as well if they had some vision and taste to many ceo´s and company leaders wing it with mid creative directors

Not shut down, they ll be passed to Miu Miu/Prada/Church’s
That what LVMH does when a location isn’t working for a brand.
Yes i'm in Miami and the miu miu store is right next door to the high-end Versace at the same price i'm sure.

its ok pls make versace by tisci happen even as a guest designer... Theres just so many ways where versace should have been the go-to brand of these gen-z's based on what gianni built. But they never developed it for 2025 and got stuck. Tisci is the right guy to put versace in 2025.

I think that Prada is overcorrecting for their previous sins with Jil Sander and Helmut Lang. Both brands were severely mismanaged by Bertelli, leading to a sharp decline in sales followed by them being sold off. Today, Prada Group is doing well across the board, but they're cornered in a specific area of the market. Prada is very serious and intellectual while Miu Miu is more playful and girly. The addition of Versace is an opportunity to target a demographic that wouldn't neccessarily look at Prada/Miu Miu. It is in the group's best interest to keep Versace as different from Prada as possible and I can imagine that Vitale's brand concept is too Prada-like.

most ex prada designers are stuck in the prada ways --only steffano i feel had his own point of view so far he is really his own man (person) good or bad i respect it.

Tisci is my favorite design of all times and I know his shows would have a stacked cast too. So I am here for it. If Alexander Wang can make a comeback 🤢 anyone can post scandal. Unless ofc there are more unreported allegations against Tisci that we don’t know.

Stefano is also the only one who had to really forged a personality for himself, who had a point to prove and in some ways, who had huge responsabilities (from the time that he was number 2 of Tom at YSL) at such an important brand in the history of fashion.

If we really think about it, from Vincent Darre to Marc Audibet, from Neil Barrett to Pagliangula, from Julie de Libran to Risso and others, no one really got such a position.

Even if Marc Audibet has a big ego, Stefano had a bigger ego and in a way, it allowed him to distance himself from both Tom and Miuccia.
Tisci? I thought that b!tch was cancelled.
He was never cancelled in the first place…

What role did he hold at Prada and Miu Miu and when was he there exactly?
