i'm not sure ... again ... but it's supposed to be unkwn people ... so no models, right ?

pretty disappointed the image i liked is not one of the commercialized cover ... but well ...

oh and i forgot .... are you kidding me dazed ? how does it cost in UK ? no because seriously it's second time (and maybe more ... idk) that DC is doing ad-torial ... last month was Givenchy .. this month is free huge publicity for DG and Armani and maybe more ...

well i thought it was a routine for D&C. there was also viktoriya sasonkina in just cavalli stuff, so it's kind of casual thing for the mag. what i don't really get is the way they choose the labels to promote. like cavalli? d&g? what these two have to do with dazed (apart from spending some cash on the ads)? it really feels un-organic and totally commercialy forced for such a publication. leave apart that the latest d&g collection was an enormous and totally unbelievable disaster.

thanks for letting me know that it's actually a routine ... i never paid attention really before ... because there's a certainly an orginal work behind those editorials ... (more than the blank studio citizen k adv-torial)
i do wonder as well if those appear then a lot in the "common" fashion editorials credits ... ??

ok i'm getting disappointed little by little with this issue ...

i never thought it would end like that ...

if my bf buys it to me when he'll b back in heathrow i won't complain ... but actually i won't buy this ... waste of money at the moment ...
the concept was nice and open-minded ... the result is too ... let's say ... childish and immature ...

^ i was thinking of this 'amateur-ish' threat the very moment i found out about this issue. but i guess it was intended to be this way, kind of 'creative-artsy-DIY' thing. there's lot to say on this point but i don't want to. it'll get very pathetic.
yet i'm really impressed by the images of two girls wearing vintage wedding dresses. maybe that's just me, but i do think it's very symbolic (let alone very beautiful).
maybe it's wrong, but i think this whole 'teenage rebellion and identification' concept would be more suitable for i-D rather than D&C.

^i'm talking about the covers and the adtorial ... mainly (the hedi slimane ed was posted some days ago on his diary ... so no surprise and i like it)
i like only 3 or 4 out of all them ... but i hope it's not only those ... i mean i hope they've chosen more and more ... there must be talented teens in UK ... c'mone !

DIY creativity doesn't mean childish and immature ... and there most of the covers are childish, imo
but i have a certain problem with young artists ... more and more unfortunately ...

I like the photos in the editorial. I mean, I think Hedi as a photographer is pretty boring, but the models and clothing are nice

anybody has this itw this young tfs-er - Miss-V - has done with Nicola Formichetti ?
I would love to see it ......

its a interview linking with the hedi s shoot, we talk about nicola's career, his work, what we both think of fashion, we share experiences. Then we talk about the issue, what inspired him etc.
The interview is relatively small but it took about 2 hours in the studio to talk about

His so lovely and the spread is fantastic, none of the teenagers feature are famous. which is the great thing they are not in there because of fame.
