They have like the mid-length ones and the ultra-short torn up ones, which are my favorite!

^^ thanks! I didn't even know aber had a sister store and some of those shorts are really quite pretty! I really like alexander wang styled them in that they're not short shorts but rather loose-ish more man-ish which is quite different from the usual aber-style!

i think the sizing runs a bit big, i got them in a size 0 and theyre still a bit loose, but they fit really nicely. theyre very comfortable, and i love the cuffs!
the color is really nice, too.

I want a pair that comes about mid-thigh. The Reuhl ones look like they are around that length but are much shorter in person or maybe I am just too tall.

i love denim shorts. i lived in my cutoffs, they frayed beautifully! but the very very hot weather these days and this thread has inspired me to cut them shorter and then hand-rolled and hemmed.

Denim shorts are the best!
I culled most of my jeans (minus 1 pair) into shorts a few summers ago and I still wear them as shorts way more often then I did when they were jeans.

These are shorts that I made from old Target jeans I never wore anymore. Now I wear them on a regular basis. I think it's better for me to just recycle unworn jeans into cut-off shorts.

The Urban Outfitters ones are very cute!

Trust me, mine were crooked. The stringy parts that come with wear sort of hide it now. And I just use jeans that I might have donated anyways, so it isn't much of a sacrifice.
