I really wish the large persa bag.......would be like $1650 that is more reasonable...and the violet and hilde bags would be like $1295.....I could do that and be okay...but the persa being $2150 give me a break

okay I got some measurements! they are in cm though so I will try to get unlazy and convert them to inches.

I don’t have exact measurements for the Violet Satchel but it is sized in between the Hildegard and the Persephone.

Hildegard:
- Height at center, 25 cm
- Height at side, 29 cm.
- Width at side, 7.5 cm close, 12.5 cm opened
- Width at center, 9.5 cm closed, 16.5 opened
- Length, 34 cm.

Persephone (biggest one
- Height at side of body, 33 cm.
- Height at center of body, 29 cm.
- Width of gusset when closed, 13.5 cm.
- Width of gusset opened, 23 cm.
- Height of bag including handle, 35 cm.
- Width of handle at widest point, 4.5 cm.
- Length, 41 cm.

the XL muse is 13"H X 17"L X 4"W as per saks.com
Neimans says the XL muse is 14 1/2"H x 17 3/4"W x 6"D.

the large muse is 11"H X 17½"L X 5"W as per saks.com

Looks like the perse bag is more like the XL muse....and the hilde derek lam bag is more like the large muse.

and Derek Lam told me the Hilde bag resembles the spy bag mostly.

So the Persa bag will be most like a muse bag but more hobo, big and floppy.

The hilde will be like the spy bag.....probably a tad smaller.

The height of the hilde is the same height ABOUT at my hermes birkin 35cm. The length of the hilde is 34cm and my birkin is a 35cm. so the hilde might be a mushy birkin! haha

i know what you're saying about the sizes...the persephone could be overkill...

but i still think i want the persephone because i feel that unstuffed it will be big but look delicious being all floppy with all that buttery soft leather. i don't think it will look bulky if you don't stuff it like on the runway.

i have to see it and touch it to fall in love with it...

posi, you also don't have a muse bag...and you live in NYC so it will be great for that.

I need a very easy and casual bag. To take when I go to San Fran, NYC, Paris, London......the grocery store, easy easy easy stuff. Holds all my stuff like wallet, phone, 2 pouches, and misc items. And I need to go to over the shoulder.

So that bag is PERFECT for me.

If I didn't have the muse I would really get the persa bag.

yeah, i agree the hildegard would be great for that!!

i think it's true that it feels more ridiculous to wear a gynormous bag in warmer weather.

plus you do have the muse!!

i think i'm going to see if i like the red muse first. if i do, i will get the red muse and the oxblood persephone.

if i don't like the red as much as the chocolate muse, then i will get the chocolate muse and the green persephone.

i was just wondering the same scatterak. i have no idea. it's better to get them outside CA since you don't have to pay tax (unless there's a store in CA). i.e. if Bergdorf has them that would be ideal for us.

i already know Neiman, Saks will not carry them. only special boutiques.

part of me wants to call around and get on the list for the hilde in oxblood. but I am feeling lazy esp when i am guaranteed to get a bottle green hilde bag.

I have been wanting a green bag.....so this will cover that.

And I will save a red bag for later!

the violet bag which is the chain bag is $1950. persaphone bag is $2150 and the hildegard is $1800

I know. They really need to step down. The giant bag should be $1800 reall...the violet maybe like $1600 and the hilde bag like $1400 or something.
