Dermalogica

Yeah I was thinking the exfoliater first, thank you. I'll buy the mask the week after and by then people will prob. have started whackin the flamin AC up so I'll get the moisturiser.

i agree with getting the microexfoliant first from that list..

the orange mask mentioned above is indeed the Multivitamin power recovery mask...
that is my fave mask of theirs- it moisturizes and hydrates and leaves skin soft and glowing..
the orange colour is a bit odd at first...but it wipes off easily with no problem...
and most of us aren't doing this in the dark......
i actually like the orange because when i look at the washcloth i can tell if i have gotten it all off or not...

OK I finally have money again, woo. So I think I should start buying the products I was reccomended at my facial, but which first? My list -
Daily microfoliant
Overnight clearing gel
Skin smoothing cream
A face mask (forgotten which!)
I can't afford them alla t once but maybe one a week, which should I go with first? I already am using a nivea moisturiser so it isn't like I aren't using anything and I still have some sebum clearing mask left too.
Yes! Get the Daily Microfoliant (I use it 3 times a week, and it's very gentle when you don't use it daily). And also the Skin Smoothing Cream (too dry for me though). You don't really need the rest if you buy those two.

I really need to try the multivitamin power recovery mask...

I would also suggest getting the microfoliant first, that's one of my top dermalogica products

I loooove the Multivitamin Power Mask, it's the only mask of its type where I've actually seen my skin perk up. I use it maybe once a week or more often if I think my skin looks a bit tired/dull/stressed etc.

I have the Microfoliant, have had it for ages, but I don't really use it. At the moment my skin has been really good and while these reviews are making me want to use it, I don't want to upset my skin's nice little routine!

I was thinking of trying out these products

I've mailed a beauty salon nearby that uses them to ask if they offer a skin mapping, has anyone of you had it before? they offer a lot of products and I'm not sure which ones are best for me

and do you do exactly what they say or...? thanks for the help

I've had the face mapping done :flower: The specialist went through the different products that would be best for my skin needs, and occasionally there was more than one option (there were 2 different moisturisers I could have used) but then we decided which would be best for the warmer weather, etc etc. They will just assess your skin and give you a list of the products from the range are most suitable for you ^_^

ok, thanks, now I'm hoping for a quick response so I can have it done next week or so, will surely keep you all up to date on the proces ;)

I think all salons which sell Dermalogica should do face mapping, no?

ok so I went for the facemapping, I have a lot of p (pigmentation), some d (dilated capillaries) and a few b (breakout activity) and occasionally an m and a c but those 3 were the focus

she used a lot of them on me but I can hardly remember which one was which, I remember she used the anti-bac masque and my skin was glowing/itching

she didn't have all products to test and wasn't really specific on which ones would be better and why, there is another dermalogica store where I could go as well for a second opinion, what do you all think?

she advised me these products:
- pre cleanse
- ultra calming cleanse
- soothing protection spray
- gentle cream exfoliant OR dialy microfoliant
- barrier repair
- sheer tint moisture SPF 15 redness
- special clearing booster
- total eye care
I have no idea when to use what :D

which ones of these do you girls/guys think are good?:flower:

barrier repair is good at preventing future dilated/broken capillaries .. but if you use a sunscreen that will do the trick as well these upcoming summer months..
I think barrier repair is a godsend in autumn and winter.. so you might want to wait untill that time to get it..

The daily microfoliant is pretty popular.. so that would be a safe start purchase..

I  precleanse & daily microfoliant. I also use the soothing protection spray (not too fussed about this) and the total eye care, which I like.

I'm also pretty happy with Multi-Active toner, esp over makeup.

I just started using precleanse and it is :heart:. I cleansed my face and all my eye makeup and sunscreen was just...gone. I also got a sample of the total eye care and it was okay but sort of irritated my eyes a bit.

^^Yes you can!! I dont wear makeup, just an SPF and so it really helps to dissolve that off and prep my face for my regular cleanser.

I spent all my money on dermalogica!
I just got:
precleanse
active moist
multi active toner
daily microfoliant!

from hqhair.com
thank god I had a 20%off discount!
