Paul & Joe for Target, Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld, Victor & Rolf for H&M.
Do you know about another designers who are making cheaper options?? Even if they are not doing it now, but they did.

I think there's a thread titled "Difussion lines" or something about this ...
and there are many cheaper versions .. Galliano, McQ, D&G, Armani Exchange ...

Chanel for Hot Topic!

just kidding, but seriously. you know the designer friending the less expensive clothing chain trend. so why not?

how about an exclusive michael kors line at old navy? and kate spade can do a special line for the counterfeit shops in chinatown.

also when is hannah montana coming out with her h&m collection?

sorry if i hurt anyone . . . but wait, would it be a good thing or a bad thing if there really was a partnership?

Really, that was a bad joke, I almost had a heart attack! ¬¬'

I do.

Hot Topic does not manufacture quality brand clothing, accessories, shoes or merchandise.

It would be a huge step down for Lagerfeld to help design for Chanel. Actually, "a huge step down" is an understatement.

There are no words for a move like that.

hahah bad! gave me a laugh though
first thing i thought was if lagerfeld didnt like the "bigger" sized clothing at H&M I certainly can't imagine him designing for all the chubby "goths" at hottopic

 it would be interesting to see what would form from that unlikely union
but I probably wouldn't take chanel seriously after that.

 The chubby goths shop in their Torrid stores.

We work w/HT and they are :ninja:. It's like Disney gone "goth". They get little "skully" stickers on their employee badges for doing a "great job". And they monitor every second of your breaks...VERY VERY corporate. Not that this is bad, but it's really annoying when they try to give off the impression that they're so cool and "rock n roll". But their offices are really cool. Like the Haunted Mansion if it was turned into an office building.

Anyway, I nearly died when I saw this topic.

I would love to see their office.

I just might work at hot topic if all else fails ,I don't want to work in food service and ohio doesn't have too many fashion or art related jobs.

Their offices are probably the only cool thing about the company. Their conference rooms are all themed - if I can correctly recall, one is the "Coffin Room" where the table is a huge coffin and it's decorated like a graveyard. Another one is their "Examination/Morgue Room" and it's all stainless steel w/the table being an operating table and they have vintage steel rolling medicine cabinets (like what dentists have) w/skeletal xrays on the wall. It really does feel like you're in an examination room - really cold and sterile.

And the receptionists sit in front of this huge gothic cathedral facade replica and the walls adorned w/candlebras w/fake candles (lightbulbs). It really is amazing. They should consider charging for tours - they'd prolly make more money that way.
