JS won’t improve in any way under Bellotti….I’ll be happy if my take is wrong on this but what excitement can he bring with him if his work in Bally was boring af?Missed opportunity imo Daniel would’ve brought a lot of attention to the house
It's not THAT random tbh. It's just craving validation, nothing unusual for Rosso. He may get it as Bellotti is a rising star in Milan, God knows why, but it's such a bad hire. His work is too pretentious for a house like Jil Sander, where it should be all about the cut, simplicity, and, above all, real life. Her work was grounded in reality, and Bellotti is way too heavy-handed with his experiments. So random…
does he actually think this is a good hire? Along with resso and martens this is the weakest one….It's not THAT random tbh. It's just craving validation, nothing unusual for Rosso. I mean, he was calling Bellotti a star designer even before the official announcement, but he must've been a relatively cheap star to hire hahahdoes he actually think this is a good hire? Along with resso and martens this is the weakest one….
When he said that I thought it was Daniel for sure 😭I mean, he was calling Bellotti a star designer even before the official announcement, but he must've been a relatively cheap star to hire hahah

Well rosso wants to turn JS into a Hermès with edge..💀 lets see how that goes
Well he is working already on menswear so I am sure he's doing the haute couture and using some of the hands from there.Do you think JWA and MGC are working in the very same building ? With the same seamstresses ?
That would be so awkward…

The men's RTW, women's RTW and HC studio are all seperate (to the point that men's is even in a different building, I think), so there shouldn't be too much clash. That said, it's been proven that Dior can make a HC collection in less than month if neccessary.Well he is working already on menswear so I am sure he's doing the haute couture and using some of the hands from there.
Yes ^^ So that gives him even more freedom to work I imagine. I am so curious to see his menswear debut. I got into his Loewe for men right when he is leaving. Also couture could go really great or really bad, but I expect we are going to have capital F fashion. The men's RTW, women's RTW and HC studio are all seperate (to the point that men's is even in a different building, I think), so there shouldn't be too much clash. Didn't someone say it was MGC ? I doubt she has that type of power, unless it was a part of her negotiations. That's all I can think of.According to my sources (so dramatic to say but...) JWA is already there, and allegedly not "hiding" at all (as in, you can see him around the office). From what I'm told, many of his team have already transferred. I wonder what's taking so long for the announcement...
