Just one thing about Dolce&Gabbana - sometimes people stick to the original Italian and read it "Dolce e Gabbana" - "e" is the Italian for "&" (i.e. "and").

That should be "Dohl-cheh eh Guh-bah-nah", by the way.

Being from Singapore I used the Chinese pronounciation of Gn like Nguyen but He lives in France and maybe uses the French pronunciation of Ni which is also a common Chinese surname And would Gen be pronounced as Jen or as g-en like in the word again....

Er-may. There is an accent on both e's in Hermes. The s at the end is silent.

hahahah one time i was watching this evening gown fashion show and the "fashion reporter" pronounced Monique L'Huillier's name as " La-hoolliay" correct me if i'm wrong, please. It's Lui-lliay, right?

See that's the thing. Hermes is a French name right. French rules say that "s" at the end of words are silent. Example: amis= a mee; Paradis = Para dee.
