I understand you not. Is this an insult? Please do not make fun of foreigners as everyone is entitled to fashion and the U.S. was founded by foreigners. Anyways I did not mean to be so harsh in my first post, I will refrain from posting with attitude and leave the bickering up to others. Sorry. :flower:

I dont believe you said anything wrong! Nice comments :)

Hello all, I am new to the site but have been following this forum for a while now because I am in love with Dior. Since I do not live in NY or LV I have to get Dior online. I noticed a lot of criticism for Dior Homme sellers on eBay and I ask why? And please no more self-righteous babble, it's tiring.

Alexisannas,
I totally agree with you. Alex is a jerk isn't he? Like you, he really rubs me the wrong way with his petulant remarks about ebay fraud. It almost seems like he's anti-spam doesn't it? It's really tiresome (wow, I suppose come to think of it it's also 'tiring' like you said) to read tirades against people who have gone to all sorts of effort to rip people off. Where would thieves and con artists be if there were many more of these saints like Alex calling them out? People who spend good money on designer clothes are fashion victims and like you I'm always a little thrilled to think of them wasting their money, ideally in the form of credit card debt, serves them right. Anytime ebay can facilitate that it makes me happy. What about seniors who sign over their life savings to telephone cons offering them ridiculous, farcically unrealistic investement returns? Isn't it great to see their greed and stupidity punished when the fall for these scams? Spam is great, it really is, and thank you, Alexisannas, for letting me know I'm not the only one who loves to see it flooding my inbox, and my ebay search results, and who relishes the idea of people damaging their lives by falling for it. Keep the great posts coming!

Hello all, I am new to the site but have been following this forum for a while now because I am in love with Dior. Since I do not live in NY or LV I have to get Dior online. I noticed a lot of criticism for Dior Homme sellers on eBay and I ask why? If you know what you are looking for you can avoid marked up/vintage items. And if the people buying them are so stupid, why should you care, they are just spending money on what they like as seen from the pictures and not necessarily driving up prices on the items you are after? The fact is they should do more research into what they are buying? But what's this "I reported the auctions because the sellers are obnoxious"? Are you trying to save the "stupid" people (you SAINT), or are you just bitter  that some people are earning money however they can which is not really anyone else's business (unless it is a fake item). And which is worse: selling vintage Dior items (which I am sure were expensive and overpriced when the items were new years ago) or buying a bunch of Dior Homme items on 50% sale and selling them for even higher on eBay? (I like to call this practice Dior scalping). Please enlighten me.

The bottom line is that we are all VoTC (pretty much in the desiring of overpriced luxury goods that are not practical and most of us can't really afford). And if we could afford the stuff that easily we would not be bitchin about insignificant sellers on eBay. You know that you can BLOCK certain sellers while doing a search if you use the advanced search option on eBay, I recommend you become familiar with that feature. And please no more self-righteous babble, it's tiring.

I'm sorry to see that you never learned the proper application of that difficult element of punctuation: the question mark. While most American and European education includes the proper use of such a crucial tool at its most elementary stage, I'm sorry to see that it was omitted from your own. And I do empathize.

overrated and sad......hedi slimane should concede and retire.....he has run out of ideas and no amount of frolicking with underfed teens in rock band and surfing with greasy haired jocks .......will revive what is essentially a p*rno film running 24/7 in poor fragile hedi's tiny brain.

save the fabrics for someone truly talented.

far from being an insult, i'm a foreigner to, (Hispanic).
my point being, apart from the cynical defense you posted, your english makes it too suspicious for one not to think you are one of the individuals posting their stuff on Ebay as DH, when it is not. like the argentinian fellow. 'cough, cough' :flower:

What do you think of this?

Oh, very nice for a STOLEN jacket.

Most of us here work hard and pay for what we buy.

(Hint: Remember me from Live chat?)

To everyone else: If this Sylvain dude is trying to sell his stuff on ebay, honor decency and integrity, and just don't buy it :flower:

See, I don´t think you are making yourself a good name in here, randomly insulting people that are liking specific designers. We approve controversy, but in a constructive, respectful manner. You are free to express your opinions, but please do so in appropriate language.

Neither style nor elle has the dior homme runway pictures, I was wondering where I can see them.

Theres a jacket I love by DH, and a vest, but I think the vest would be too long for me.

for DH and other runway pics you should check www.vogue.co.uk, "shows" section

^or men.style.com

...here are some pics of some new itemws on elux.

voile tank...125 USD

striped tee...205 USD

...I would pay high dollar for the tabk with the straps featured in the ad campaign, but that one seems to be a bit outrageous. I suppose the cut of that particular tank may be difficult to find, but still...

How do you know it's stolen?

That's actually not rue, Arthuro wanted to know were I got my CD items from. I didn't especially wan't to tell someone I knew from 10 minutes in a chatroom. When you have tips, it's usually better to keep it for yourself, as most good tips.

you know whats sad? i guarantee that if you had the money every single piece in your wardrobe would be dior homme. where are all these new doods coming from? theres been like 10 people that recently joined who just come on here to just hate on hedi. if youre trying to cover up the fact that youre a dior homme wh*re, do it in a respectful manner.

The new tank is really nice. I don't like the tee though, I saw it on Saks when I was there last week and the fabric doesn't feel nice at all. It looks good though.
