Dior Homme - posting requires reading thread rules!

I was wondering what you guys thought of this jacket? Would I be able to wear it for a while, is it worth the 2.2k? Really appreciate any opinions

Personally, I'd stick with this spring's Balenciaga jacket, I think it's alot more versatile, better looking and has nicer details than the Dior Homme one.

you should find out if any dior homme carriers even carries that jacket in women sizes before you try to make a firm decision. the smallest ive seen in that jacket is a 46, which would prolly be way too big for you

Wow, I didn't know they dont make all the pieces in all sizes. Thanks for letting me know. I thought they make all sizes but different boutiques order different sizes and that I should be able to track one down. Is the smallest size a 40 P? I'll call dior tommorow and try to get more info on it. Is Dior homme avalible in dior stores or do they have seperate dior homme stores?

they have seperate store for dior homme. only stores i know of that carry that jacket is the new york dior homme store and the saks flagship. dior homme store in ny also has this same fabric but in a regular peak lapel blazer style.

Sizing goes down to 38P, ie, a 28" chest. You can always have your nearest stockist source the item for you from Paris or perhaps even Japan where the petite sizes are most abundant.

I will definaltey ask about this, I didn't think they could do that. My chest is 30" so I think I would go witht he 40P.

out of s/s 06, that's one of the pieces that caught my attention.
i wouldn't buy/wear it, but it definately looks good on that girl.

same thing with that other dh coat Naomi Watts was wearing.

I've seen that jacket up close and I don't think it's worth the money. There is an identical jacket all in black and I'd rather get that one since it's definently more wearable and sharper.

how does the 17cm jeans fit differ from the 19cm and 21 cm? is it only the leg that is slimmer or is are the thighs slimmer too? how do you think these 21cms fit? Do you think i should go slimmer?

Don't go slimmer; that looks like a good fit. There is no 17 cm cut. Sometimes the cuts run smaller than usual, so 21 cm cut measures 19 cm and 19 cm cut measures 17 cm...or somewhere in between that. Strip destroyed jeans are even less than 17 cm when you get down to the smallest sizes.

Arturo, 5HH = F/W 05. Just remember # = year.

I've now had my first experience with petite sizing. Got a white hidden-button dress shirt with bee from VOTC in 36P, and it's TOO DAMN SMALL!!!!! I'm so disappointed. It's a really nice shirt, and it actually fits me perfectly everywhere except the chest. If I took a deep breath, I could pop a button off. I guess I'll be sticking with 37's.

However, I'll probably be getting a size 42P shiny Strip notched-lapel blazer.

And I'm excited for my white three wolves sweatshirt to get here! Does anyone have one? Is it pretty nice or will I be disappointed?

Also got this stuff recently, for those of you who don't frequent the Secret Shopaholics thread. The polo was a major impulse buy on very little sleep just because it was my size. I'll probably end up selling it. Click pictures to enlarge...

I own just few DH items (2 shirts, a tie and a pair of sneakers) and recently I've decided to buy the jeans. 1.st (very silly) question: are raw denim and denim brut (as named in LuisViaRoma) different names for the same jeans?
Last week I went to a select shop in Udine, Italy, and I tried on a pair of denim brut 21 cm in size 29. I am short but quite slim. The waist was a little bit large, so I imagine that my size on those jeans is 28 (but they didn't have them). Anyway I was really surprised because they were quite large on my leg... and the waist quite high (I felt the crotch a little long). I thought that all dior jeans were tight and low. Then I saw the same jeans in the LuisaViaRoma site... they look baggy on that model! (2.)So...are those jeans supposed to be worn like that? Large?
The seller told me that the only difference between 19 and 21 is the opening at hem. Is that true? (3.)Aren't 19cms tight on all leg? (4.)And...if I wear a 28 on 21 cm, which size do I have to take on 19 cms? (5.)And... is the crotch same in all DH jeans or are some of them lower?

you mean BUGATTI? they only have ss06 jeans which are a bit higher in waist, and they sell only 21 hem. You should try to get older collections at SBAIZ in lignano, they do keep 19hems, i was there recently and saw jeans from aw04/05 in 19, which are slimmer all over the leg

Thank you. Yeah, I mean Bugatti. I've been to Sbaiz 2 weeks ago and the smallest size of all jeans they showed me was 30. They were even surprised when I asked them a smaller size. I definitely hate that store, they have no idea of what are they selling and they try to f*ck you too. I found there an old pair of 2002 DH white sneakers I liked and the woman said that they were new ones and that they were continuous sneakers they receive every year...
Do you know any other place I can find size 29 in 19 cm jeans?

Brut and Raw are the same, I believe its just French. I tried on a pair of 21cm in 29 waist and they fit me yet were large in the leg and seemed a higher rise. A pair of 19cm in 29 waist fit a lot slimmer throught out the whole leg and lower rise. Hope that helps.
