does anyone have pics of the rolling stones performing during super bowl? I totally missed that part...

if not, can someone describe what pieces they had on? Always cool to see Mick in Dior.

Mick had a completely sequined long-tail short front black jacket, gorgeous (but maybe too much for even the superbowl show ; skiiiiinny black pants ; and a small black tee with what looked like rhinestones spread around the neck and shoulders, sublte and cool. And some crap black nikes or something (but it's cool too anyway). Oh and a very nice shirt.
All this was really nice but I don't really think it fitted the "Pittsburg Steelers vs. Seattle Seahawks" halftime show).

The best for me were the 2 guitarists, Keith R. was wearing some kind of black fitter jacket, the fabric looked interesting. Some chains at the belt that gave it that "hard" rock look.
The other guitarist (yeah I don't remember his name) had (I think) a cool leather jacket and 2 gold belts tied on the side, I think that worked really nice.

If people can find pics, it might help of course

Just started working on this new summer 06 look from DH...i am loving this suspender theme...got those, got the voile tank top and go the patent blk/wht spectators...loving it

Now i don't know what type jeans to get, i def want the brut denim, but dont know which to go for 19 or 21??
any thoughts?

Well I guess it depends on your look...the 19 is more tapered, but on me the difference seems negligible. My legs are skinny so it looks kind of baggy either way...i personally wear the 21 cms, i like how it looks slim yet still relaxed in the sense there's some extra fabric bunching up along my thighs, knees and ankles, makes for a cool effect. I can't really pull off the skin tight, clinging to your thighs look that well.

Yea well i have pretty muscular soccer player type of legs...but i am thin...
so i am still waiting to try them on...haven't tried on either of them ....

sad that they are fragile... i would not spend 400 on something that will rip ('cause i don't really take care of my clothes, i need to live w/them)
i'd better buy a jean, but except the ss 06 19 cm, i don't see what i could buy... there is only one in the fw 06 (seem special don't they? , there is a grey band at the belt level), and i have never seen any jeans in 27 on ebay...

From my experience DH cords aren't that fragile...my pair from VotC has held up perfectly after over a year of wear...i wear em all the time, run up stairs 2 at a time, all that good stuff and its still in perfect shape (knock on wood).

And in regards to my post above, just to clarify: The 19 cms will more likely have a skin tight look if your thighs are a bit larger, as for me personally i can't pull off the 17 cm (like the cotton/poly jeans of s/s 05)...but even the 21 cm I wouldn't say is a baggy, full cut jean...still slim just more relaxed which is the kind of fit i like better.

edit: just for reference purposes, here's two pictures of me wearing the raw denims and the cords. The first pic is the 21 cms, and I believe the cords in 2nd picture are 19 cm. Not much difference from my perspective.

Matt, the beige ones are more fragile than the painted grey ones. Trust me; I've seen multiple pairs of both.

The Stones look awesome. They mimed their performance, I take it (just like everyone else at the Superbowl)? I have it recorded; I'll have to watch it.

Just a hint... I'll be putting a pair up on ebay tomorrow night.

There were multiple versions in case you weren't aware of them.

The blue ones (above) had the lame thread woven into the denim whereas the gray version was sparkle coated. Thus the blue ones can be washed without any fear of the sparkle going away while the gray ones would eventually have their sparkles disappear.

They also fit about 1 size smaller than you normally wear.

Beautiful jeans!
