Mine measured at about 18cm. And they're 29", so I'm guessing that's the equivalent to 19cm?
Yes. Think about it this way, if your 18 cm were the 21 cm cut, that'd make the 19 cm cut measure about 16 cm, which would be ridiculous. The only thing I could possibly think of measuring 16 cm is the Strip destroyed jeans in the smallest size, 26.

hello and welcome to the fold:flower:

26 is the smalled size :|?
God i thought it was 27...
Help me, i wear 28 in levi's, and i like my jeans skinny, i'm afraid that the 19 cm brut (ss 06) will be too loose on me (i like the jeans tight like the dark indigo ones from FW 05-06).. Do you think i can go to the size 26?
or will it be too tight?
Would be grateful :)
yours
robin
PS: if that can help... My APC new standart are 26, and fits perfect...

^they also have the new "skinny leg"...which I think is said to be samller than the 19 cm.

How dope is this look i am putting together...damn...all i need is those fukin jeans to come in and im in business...
Those patent spectators are gonna need to get tips before i whip em out..dont wanna mess em up...
But i honestly like the ones i got better than the ballet ones you guys been eyeballin on this thread...

I'm looking for the very skinny black tie that I have seen on the Dior runway. Does anyone know where I can get it? I went to Dior on 57th st. but they didn't have it. :/

Check out some more of the S/S 06 collection here. Japan markup is so crazy. Those new over-the-top glitter jeans are like $1000.

After seeing a bunch of what's being carried in stores this season, I honestly think it's quite a worthless collection aside from the safari blazer and perhaps a few other nice (but not that nice) jackets.

Eluxury has the flame tie.

I don't have time to capture the close-up of the flame, but I think it looks awful. I wish they'd left it off, or maybe just put a bee on it instead. I like the bee a lot more as far as DH logo-type stuff goes.

I don't like the flame that much either.

Of the tie designs this season the half union jack and mod circle are nice. I also like the black and white checked. The width reminds me of how we used to wear our school uniform ties (20+ yrs ago!) - on a standard tie we would tuck the wider part into the shirt by the collar and show just the back (skinny) part.

Selfridges in London has a good selection of current ties and some older (Reflection/ Follow Me) stock. I would think that your nearest DH boutique will get more stock.

Yeah I don't like the flame either. The only all-black tie DH here in NY had is the one with the flame. The black/white checked is really nice too though. Do you have a pic of the mod circle one? I don't how that one looks.

I think the 5 button jacket works because of the peaked lapels...it looks better in person, but as a piece I think it works better with suit trousers rather than casual jeans, in which case I'd prefer to go with a classic one or two button blazer.

The only shirt that could mesh with the flame tie is this one:

What a bunch of cheesy sh*t :yuk:

I'm thinking of buying the 5-button blazer next week, either in the fine houndstooth or black. does anyone own either of these? if so could they post a pic of themselves wearing it. thanks

I don´t own it but I´ve tried it in Paris last week, I must say, I think it just looks a little too retro for my taste, at least in the houndstooth. There was a similar design in F/W 2005 which I think is a little nicer since it is more in between a casual jacket and a blazer (it came in a variety of fabrics that were neither too retro, too dressy or too rustic) - this however, will always look like The Hives, in my opinion.

^ i would totally wear that... with the flame tie :ninja:

I don't think the flame tie would go with this number....It's saturating the theme of the flame....
I think the flame tie would look great under a plain loose AA vneck t shirt...kinda that tweak chic idea... It's meant to be a minor detail to spice up something basic...not really to put you in the wrath of an inferno...
