Does anybody know the exact retail price (USD) for these 06 S/S destroyed jeans?

They're 387 Euros on Luisaviaroma, which converts to $462. But they're surely a bit more expensive in the US.

And they look like a cheap-*** pair of Guess jeans from a few years back, seriously.

Jun don't quote me on this but I thought i heard someone here say they were around $550. I saw these jeans in person the other day, they looked better than I expected...they seem less versatile and a bit harder to wear than Dior's previous jeans (actually a lot of this season's jeans seem to be in that category...with the yellow/pink pastel painted ones, glitter jeans and then this). But the denim is soft and the patches look pretty cool, like a layer of cloth covering up the rips, kinda reminds me of Undercover's denim. One of the few highlights from an overall mediocre season.

That guy really likes his Dior...i commented on another pic of his where he's wearing an s/s 06 4-button blazer with the f/w 05 silk shirt...in both of these pics i don't think he looks good and he's trying a bit too hard. He could pass for someone who works there though.

edit: actually now that i mention it, doesn't that guy work at DH NYC?

that's peter he works at dior homme here in new york however he's actually being transfered to l.a. where he'll manage the store opening there. he's the nicest guy who works at the nyc location.
also. those destroyed jeans totally suck. i tried them on in paris. however i would compare them more to abercrombie from a few years back than guess. my old college roommate totally rocked the same ones. pshhh....

Yeah I had to do a double take, I thought that person bore an eerie resemblance to Peter or the other guy with long-ish hair who works there, I think his name is Andy? Regardless I thought they looked better in person, I dunno that photo seems to be kind of reaching to capture that stage-y look seen in the advertisements, it looks a bit contrived. All of this is strictly my opinion, don't burn me.

I think their suits are usually around $2,200, in that ballpark.

Nope. A blazer is usually in the $1,900 ballpark, a full suit gonna cost you at least $2,100. Mine was $2,195, but it's a treated suit with lurex thread woven in. Not sure how much a plain suit costs.

For a look at a variety of suit pricing, take a look at the Dior selection at www.diabro.jp. Use the XE Currency Converter if you need to, then take the price down a bit to compensate for Japanese inflation.

On an unrelated note, I got the F/W 05 silver dog tag necklace from Eluxury, and it arrived broken.
