Nope. A blazer is usually in the $1,900 ballpark, a full suit gonna cost you at least $2,100. Mine was $2,195, but it's a treated suit with lurex thread woven in. Not sure how much a plain suit costs.

I recently purchased a new suit (plain black, 100% tight weave wool, ie the DH 2 button & notched lapel 'classic'/'staple') which was £1,204. That works out to be just over USD2,090. If the pricing in the US is higher than here in Europe (which i assume it is, plus if you guys incur additional sales tax, then it'll be higher).

The higher the grade of the suit in terms of cloth (Super 100s/120s, wool/silk blends etc.) the higher the price as well. Also purchased a Super 100s in grey.. :ninja:

what about stuff from past season, full retail value?
think not, right?

does DH do the whole globalrefund thing?
just reading up on things.B)
SOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

Another one of him....I don't like this jacket!

By any chance, does anyone know when is the Dior Homme boutique Grand Opening in Los Angeles on Rodeo Drive?

not sure if the suits go on sale...but I would guess some of them do, at least the ones only produced for a season.

...in regards to returns, I don't think they do global refunds (although I'm not sure). I do know that you can only return things within 10 days, and evening wear and acessories are not returnable.

...I hopw you have fun in Paris. While at the DH store make sure to check the past season stuff (if not for yourself...for me :) ). I am going next winter, and would very much like to know what kind of past season stuff they have.

Definitely Peter! He's a really really cool guy. Remembers your name, calls when there is a sale, everything. I'm sad to hear that he's going to LA... even though I don't really have much of a reason to go to the Dior NYC store anymore unfortunately.

i was actually asking about the other stuff like accessories (non suits)
from previous collections
like the three wolves blazer
what was the full retail value
and what would the price be now.

^I am curious to see if the Paris store has peices as rare as that blazer, and how far back their inventory dates. Boys don't cry *fingers crossed*.

Anyone know?

dorien: don't forget you don't have to pay taxes if you are not an EU resident. :)

is that like instant, show them my passport and no taxes:magic:

or do i have to hold on to my receipt and wait till i'm in the airport
or back home to get my money back.

You have to get a receipt first... and then you can get tax refund at the airport ;)

The other day, my [beautiful] friend Adrienne wanted to try on my shiny Strip jacket. It fit her perfectly and looked so hot. OMG...  Yay for girls in DH.

Indeed.

It's funny how that jacket has travelled from UK-HK-USA! A shame it was too large for my girlfriend, she needs a 40P  Hope you're enjoying it :flower:
