The jeans could have been nice if the fabric wasn't as stretchy as a legging - those ripped and coated jeans from Strip that you have had, Alex, looked absolutely amazing on you, for instance - and they were indeed skinnier than the regular 19cm jeans.AlexN said:DH 16 cm stretch jeans =
Most people can't even wear the super slim 19 cm cut (the one measuring 17 cm in smaller sizes) without looking like an idiot. I don't think I want to see how people wear this new cut. Sounds like too-small girl jeans syndrome for sure.
Thanks for the Harper's pic, Guessgirl. Looks way better there than it did on the runway!
I am currently wearing a pair of F/W 2006 orange overdyes in 26", knowing that they become larger in size after wear - I could hardly button them up at the start, but now that I´ve worn them in, they´re awesome (and they are indeed smaller than 19cm).
As for the 19/16cm measurements, Guessgirl, this corresponds to the leg opening of the jeans - Dior has got several cuts for their jeans - 21cm (straight cut) and 19cm (skinny) - those on the runway are modified (that is, skinnier) versions of the 19cm jeans.
