Yea i know how tax refunds usually work, but the guy above said " you get instant tax deduction". So it got me curious...

Back to the cons, i really doubt the white ones won't make it stateside as the above picture is from men.style.com, where they have a feature on them.. anyways, as i said they got them here in white with red/blue stripes (as in photo), but also white black/yellow stripes, and then the pastels..

Personally,i can't bring myself to spend 300 bucks on a 30 buck look a like, but they are nicer than the originals and afterall there is a paris boutique that sells vintage 60's converse for $200 so why not if you got the loot to burn!! ;)

I saw that jacket in harpars bazaar that I so badly want. I bet it's sold out by now though. They said it costs 7k+ though as apposed tothe 2.2k in vogue...

If it's actually 2.2k and not sold out in my size, I think i'd be willing to give up one of my bag purchases to get it.

DO NOT buy the size 33 red S/S 05 jeans on YOOX. This dude in my dorm (who I introduced to DH) bought them and they arrived WAY damaged. There are stains, a small rip, and one of the buttons is crushed. All this, and they still put them back up to sell! WTF?????

if youre talking about the cropped shawl collar dragon jacquard jacket yes it is 2,275 dollars. 7,000 would be insane. only places i know of that have it is saks and dior boutique new york. saks would never buy any petite sizes and dior does, but i dont think they have any petite for this particular jacket but you can always give them a call. the fit is fantastic, and slim and the sleeves are more narrow then diors other blazers.

Request:pictures of heart gun shot wound shirt from hedi Slimanes 2002 work for Dior.

Theres a shirt that was a plain white cotton V-neck with a partially printed, partially hand sewn (with beads and sequins) blood stain from a gun shot wound. It was designed by Hedi Slimane for a 2002 Christian Dior show, thats all I really know about it, I saw it a while back and I can't find pictures of it anywhere! I think the shirt is so cute, but I could never afford the $1,000 price tag that goes with it; I think if I can get some close-up pictures I'll try and design one for myself. I know theres one with a black stain and one with a red, I'd really like pictures of the shirt with the red stain if possible. Thanks so much in advance you guys!!!

i think in the dior homme thread in shop till you drop there is a picture, one of our members also copied it very well if i remember correctly:flower:

actually saks has a new dior specialist who does the buy and he assures me that starting next season they will carry petite and smaller sizes. he also said they would carry less commercial items and more runway pieces. i will definitely be doing all of my shopping at saks because everyone that works at the dior boutique is an ***hole and to be honest the buy isn't that great there anyway.

Thank you so much for that, I'll be looking through it tonight for sure!^_^

this is the picture thats really turning me off about that chinease print jacket. Does it actually look like this? It looks like it's cut very boxy and not really tailored. Does Dior Homme accept returns?

you can never tell with the pictures on luisa viaroma. everything is so ill fitting. it's like they make no effort to have the clothes fit the model. i'm sure that jacket fits much better than that should you be wearing the right size.

Anyone got pics of Dior Homme jeans from pre-Follow Me? I didn't see any on the runway, and I'm curious to know what early DH jeans looked like.

I have this black blazer in size 44, very fitted and very nice. The sleeves are very narrow. May take picture of how it does fit if you guys like to have a look. I think the model in Luisavia roma was wearing a size 48 which i think he should fit the 44. B)

If you're looking to make your own then Chinor1z is your man.. I recall he successfully made his own and even wrote a guide about making your own blood wound shirt in the old Dior Homme thread with sequins and beads.

Are you joking? I think if the model went down two sizes, the jacket would practically rip in half. Looks to me like he's wearing the size that fits him.

Which reminds me...I think some Dior fans aren't aware of the concept of "too small."

totally agree. you wear the size that fits comfortably. some people try to get blazers and stuff like that too small to try to replicate the runway look, and thats just not how it is supposed to be. people complain about how big the actual pieces in person are, but thats how they are supposed to be, its just not practical to be wearing something that tight. look at the models from like SS 05 the jeans and blazersd were so tight they walk like a total stiff.

i understand that up until now saks has pretty much only carried larger sizes. all i was doing was relaying something that was told to me by a reputable source at saks which is that in the future they are going to have smaller sizes. i wasn't trying to insult you or your knowledge. to be honest this whole thing got pretty blown up very fast. take it easy man. don't take everything as an attack. if we both like dior homme and both live in new york wouldnt you rather try and become friends with someone rather than pick fights? and if you're referring to barthlomew i know him and am good friends with him.

haha man i aint mad or angry when I talk like this on this forum, i do it out of fun, its funny when people feel so attacked. I guess it did blow up. I'm sorry if I offended you.
