ok that white waist coat everybody was raving about just got in store so i gave it a try: big dissapointment. the fabric is unbelievably under par, it is made of some kind of paper cloth, it almost feels like a napkin !

fortunately it is priced accordingly, at a mere 450 euro, surely a new low (in every sense) for a DH jacket...

not really a jacket though.....

Jeez...look at the stock Diabro has put up on eBay. Absolutely embarrassingly awful. I think this is the clearest example of the decline from the already very poor F/W 05 that I've seen. This stuff should be transferred to a diffusion collection at half the price, ASAP.

BTW, can someone explain to me why people by raw denim jeans from that yvgeny guy on Ebay for $330, when they are $265 at retail these days? His stuff is outrageously overpriced, yet he always seems to sell. What's the deal? Is it one of those "there is a sucker born every minute" things?

^Yeah, that guy sells his stuff for as much as possible. However, another seller's S/S 06 raw denim jeans were bid up to $405 a few weeks ago, so obviously some people just have no idea what things are worth. On a not-quite-as-ridiculous but still crazy note...the VOTC German military sneakers went for $610 today.

And this mediocre $110 scarf went for $305 recently...

However, on the other side of things we have the crazy cheap stuff which, sadly, is the older and nicer stuff...like the Luster silver coated turtleneck, which I missed out on because I was asleep. It went for $283. OUCH!

Some others...Follow Me trench for $320. It was a big size, but still...

Luster jacket for $393 (I'd go crazy if I got this jacket for that price)

The black luster jacket was sold on yoox for around the same price (same one alex?) -- it was a size euro 48 as I recall, and it lasted at least a day.

I agree it was the cutest thing ever to do. I'm not sure what I think about it, it looks average to me, just like a normal shirt. I'd wear just with jeans or under a vest. I'm not sure weather I would rather have the shirt or the $100 or so I could sell it for. What would you do?

You could get around $150, and I'd take the money.

Faust, the wool herringbone one was a 52 and the YOOX one was a 48 like disstop said.
