I was wearing my Strip beaded belt last night and I haven't yet gone to bed, so here's a picture. It's a size L, which is too big for me, but I've found a way to wear it. One deceptive thing about how it and the chainmail belt are worn on the runway...it seems like the front belt loops on the runway are placed more to the side than on the real jeans, so if I try to do the runway thing, the hanging parts are way closer together than on the runway, and it doesn't look as cool. Actually, it just looks weird. But anyhow, I attached to hooks to a beltloop and the the other side hang. Approve or disapprove? I'm thinking I need to mess with it some more. I really do wish they'd put the belt loops farther apart.

I'd also love to see a pic of the black repettos. i was under the impression DH only made them in white (at least it's the only color thats appeared so far in boutiques here).

Repetto is a french institution specialized in dancing equipment / shoes.

It has known a revival in the last few years with the whole ballerina craze for women, and now it's mens turn this season with different resurections of the zizi model which was worn daily by French crooner Serge Gainsbourg in the 80's.

I think a general consensus was made however concerning the DH bow tie ballerina, they will only look good if :

a. you are a model
b. you are a frontman in an indie rock band
c. you are a uber ***
d. all the above

ok i guess my humour got kind of lost in translation...but yea you got it, what i was basically trying to say is that those "shuz" are very hard to pull off..

like you said they fit only with the "total look" like those 2 male models dressed in prototype DH.
