hehe.. it's not about the bee..

The moment you mentioned rugby shirt I pictured it for me... but I wasn't sure about, if it was the right one i pictured..

I know there has been a lot of talk about that damn bee..

I thought it might be totally wrong for me when I bought it, and fully expected to resell it. But when put it under a nice blazer, it doesn't look "rugby-ish" or sportsy at all.

I'm just glad you didn't get that black/white one... and instead went for the black one...

I saw some guy wearing the blk/wht one.. and i threw up just a little bit in my mouth.. not merely because of the shirt. :ninja:

By the way, it's so nice to have a place where you can say what I just said without being made fun of...

Superficiality does me good.

I saw that jacket in Selfridges last week, its really stunning in the flesh. Looks much nicer than it does in pictures.

Selfridges had just received it the last time I visited... I was actually wearing mine and the shop assistant nearly collapsed in awe. I love how clothes can make the right people faint.

I actually quite like that jacket. The cut doesn't look like it would flatter a girl though.

Works pretty well on Naomi Watts (courtesy of IDmag UK):

ive seen pictures of kanye killing it in the red one at a concert with a white t shirt under it, some white kicks and jeans.

^ i think those pics are still on this thread way back...

I love girls (as well as guys) in DH, if you can rock it, id say go for it GG! :D

I would love to be able to wear it myself, exactly how small does dh run?

Eh. Lots of DH doesn't equate anything.... except massive credit card debt for those who spend beyond their means. A pecari luggage set does not impress. It just makes me shake my head. Same goes for a DH pillbox. Waste.

This comes from someone that at one point had somewhere between 40-50 pieces at one time. I've really pared down my collection to what I actually wear, and what I think is interesting. Pieces that aren't anything out of the ordinary... I've gotten rid of, and pieces that are TOO different than my personal style (as beautiful as that leather corsage, the arm warmers, the arm pouch, etc. etc. were....) I've also gotten rid of. I'd rather wear than hoard and collect, so the money has gone to fund further interesting pieces that I'd actually get some wear time with.

The longer I'm in the fashion world, the more I learn that a brand shouldn't define your style, but your personal style should define what brands you choose.

I STILL wear a good amount of DH (on average a piece a day really), but I've begun to mix it up a lot more. Ann D., Rick Owens, Carpe... as DH gets further and further mainstream, it seems like more of us who have been into the brand from early on are losing faith.
The last collection was flat out horrible. The current one really leaves much to be desired. I have hope for this upcoming fall, especially for outerwear^_^ , but my rabid loyalty no longer exists.
