Does anyone know what the retail on it is? Maybe I could sacrafice the lanvin and gucci shoes I wanted for it. I just called dior but they said they're closed and cant tell me.

I think it is 2500 Euro (not sure about USD).

hahaha, surely you jest! It's not BAD per se, but... not worth the money nor that inspired.

I'm never quick enough to get any DH from YOOX and cautious about ebay fakes, but just in case I get lucky, how does the sizing typically work? I noticed a few people buying things a size or two larger. My skinniest are these Jil Sander pants-

I have them in a 31. I'm pretty sure that 30 would be the perfect fit, but that wasn't an option. But, if a pair of 31 DH showed up, would I be able to sqeeze in, or am I best looking for a 32 or even 33? I'd want them slim, but not necessarily so tight that I couldn't bend my legs normally.

Also, with most shirts/jackets I'm a 38 (or 48 with jackets), but with something like Miu Miu a 39 works well enough. Should I be aiming for the 39? Again, I want it to be snug, but skin tight isn't necessarily my goal.

And yes, Adam, the owner of that blog, said on DH MSN that he would be paying off credit cards for years after buying all that stuff. If I was going to destroy my financial situation, I sure would have picked different pieces to do it with!

I've never found any in stores near me. I was hoping to last summer in Copenhagen, but it was a Late Saturday-early Monday visit and the stores were mostly closed.

I found some dry thin finns in 31. I'm slightly concerned about the fit in the back being baggy and the pocket detail in general, but with free shipping/returns and a 10% off coupon, I can always return them. It isn't like I've seen anyone else wearing them locally. At worst case I can apply my experience with the fit to questions about DH or APC.

Maybe mine is mislabeled, because it's definitely super small. I had a Dolce sweater that was XS, and this M fits quite a bit smaller! Well, if this is the case, I should still be fine with this new one I've bought.

here's a funny story about the rebel denim jean from s/s 06.
i had thought that they looked so cool on the runway.
i was in paris for mens fashion week and went straight to dior
pretty much right after i stepped off of the plane. much to my dismay
the jeans looked horrible. the deconstruction was awful. the holes just looked so cheesy.
flash forward to last week.
i was home in detroit visiting my parents. i was in the mall with my mom
and she had wanted to go into the gap. when suddenly THERE THEY WERE! in the back of the store in the women's clearence section where my mom was looking for jeans to paint the house in.
on sale for $20 were a pair of jeans with the EXACT SAME deconstruction
as the dior home. i swear to you the holes looked identicle. the funny thing is that the gap did it first! don't waste your money on this garbage.
