I think a few hundred.
It's a piece of junk as AlexN had said and discovered before.... made in Vietnam to boot!

How much did the Luster bee brooch retail for?
YOOX initially had it for $300 something, and YOOX prices seem to start at around a 30% discount most of the time, though once in a while something is a bit weird. So either way, it was hundreds of dollars. And yes, it was made in Thailand. And yes, for that price I would expect it to be a bit "smoother around the edges," so to speak. However, it still looks cool and I'm keeping mine since I got it for $60.

Ok, so the retail was around $400 then maybe. Well, yes that seems like a kind of rip-off. But it's still "cool" and very nice looking indeed.

Has anyone seen these gloves in person?...if so could you give me your thoughts. I myself didn't even know they were made.

don't know about you guys, but i never go around with the head to toe thing. i always manage to throw something in there that is not designer.

I think JJohnson is looking to get hired at the DH boutique in NY.

I know we're not supposed to talk about anything besides Dior but I just came across this new picture of a couple of kings having tea...

Michael's clothes are very s/s Dior, aren't they? I really like what he's wearing actually.

i like it too! he's so skinny now.

Actually it is the other way around, it's DH SS06 that is looking very MJ !! :innocent:

He's been doing it for ages: glitter trousers, gold embroided jackets, repetto dancing shoes, leather with sideway zippers, even the red stripe on black pants, thats all early MJ signature...not to mention this season's overall connection to glam pop has been made clear!

You're right. Hedi has definitely been watching videos...

I love the military part of Michael's style.

this may not sound like the nicest policy but if you don't fit the clothes then you most likely do not fit the image in which case you probably wouldn't be hired. not my opinion just the hiring practices of high fashion retail stores.

no from my experience with lvmh the monitary value of a piece is irrelevent. a jacket counts as one piece and you get so many pieces.
that is how it works. so when i was at marc jacobs i would always take
the most expensive pieces that way i got the most money for them when
i would sell them at the end of the season.

But withe DH wouldn't you say that it is a far different story? I mean...they can't possibly allow an employee to walk out with a 9000, or for that matter 24000 USD jacket or an even higher priced ruffled cape, can they?

I see what u mean, but then isnt that discrimination? Im sure if it was brought up could someone sue because of this?

Could it also be a race thing? Im not sure who is who, but like on the Dior homme runway i have never saw a black person. I am black myself, but I was wondering do retails discriminate against things like this? Like all the boutiques i went into downtown the only black ppl there were the security guards. But the SA's all had accents (fake or real) ...just wondering
