I also have one. You can see me wearing it here. It is wool and mohair.
Yup, definitely different from mine. Mine has no fringes, 100% wool, heavy as sin and completely marled one direction all though. I didn't buy it but received it as a present, so I may just sell the damn thing since I don't find much occasion to wear it (it's so damn heavy, it kinda wears you!).

Nice looks, Alex.

I'm sure you'll get a couple of hundred for it. Go for it.

was at DH NYC earlier today...store is pretty much wiped out what's left was mostly crap. Same w/ the Dior sections at Barney's and Saks. I don't think the DH boutique was on sale, either...judged on the way it seemed to be operating at that time it didn't seem like a sales zone.

Well done doo888.
That military 'Napoleon' jacket is exqusite.
That's exactly what I miss from the newer DH collections and it is
precisely the reason I became interested in Hedi's work in the first place.

The very first time I saw this pic I had to remind myself that I need to keep breathing...

Yep, well done Winston. You have proved that the Napoleon jacket is more versatile than I thought it was, looks great dressed down like that...before those pics of yours I had thought you HAD to wear that jacket with a full on Luster military look, but you have shown us otherwise in an effective manner.

Wow, congrats on the jacket doo888, that's the first time I've seen it worn outside the runway & adverts... quite less 'costumey' than I thought it would look... still outside my price range though

duffel bag

hi :)
have you seen the duffle bags in person? can someone tell me the real price (have read so different prices in other forums).
i think i would consider buy the whote one for christmas, do you think it really worth the money?
:flower:

Long shot but does any one recall what the glossy Strip handkerchief retailed for? One was on ebay 2 or 3 weeks ago but again I didn't pay attention to how much it went for (again). If you know, let me know 10 q

my recent purchase, much better then the double chain one dior homme nyc boutique had.

Nice necklace, EdK. The only necklace i've been wishing to get hold of was from S/S '03, a simple silver pendant of 2 arrows pointing downward. Still haven't found one yet! :innocent:

Thanks for the comments on the jacket guys. Matt, i've tried wearing it with a whole Luster ensemble of lacqued jeans, sheer top etc. and it doesn't work (for day to day life, anyhow). I definitely think that such an item requires one to keep everything else pretty basic otherwise theres too much going on & it's just  on the eyes!

Regards.

It works out well for you Winston. The times I've worn my all-black version it's just been paired with the really dark orange overdyes, german military sneakers, grommeted belt and a plain black tee. Like you said, it's so complex you gotta tone everything else down.

I'm glad to see you wear it sans the 3 waist straps. Mine didn't come with them and although I miss them, they'd just be another thing I'd have to worry about losing and/or readjusting constantly hahaha.

I do get the "michael jackson" comments about the jacket though... but screw em! It's hot and if they can't understad it, they don't need to!

I just made my first Dior homme purchases while I was in Chicago... The Black Velvet trousers and the sweater with the beads... But only thing that is on my way is that if credit card doesen't work because it does that sometimes I won't get them. They are gonna be on sale on thursday and I'm not gonna be on Chicago on thursday so it's kind of a mail order thing... But I'm hopping I will get those items... The pants are goin to be aroun 280 and the sweater is like 260. I'm not sure why everybody was teling that the sweater is itchy because it isn't itchy at all... Well I'm gonna post some pictures when get the items... (I might be also bying that blue long sleeve t-shirt with the eagle)

P.S Everybody in Chicago Barneys is going to have their sales on thursday and they have some stuff from Dior Homme.... Velvet pants, some jeans, couple of jackets....
