Anyone know if the Dior Homme store in NYC is having a sale?
If so, how much is the discount?

Thanks.

I know this was answered somewhere earlier in the thread, but I can't find it.

If a piece of clothing has 6HH on the tag, what season is that? Is it this coming winter, or the one we just had?

6HH is the coming winter, aw06.

:)
You talked about the grey tanks during hours a long time ago

I just went back to see the Paris Je t'Aime movie, which is realised by 16 directors (one for each sequence, on sequence for each place in paris)

That includes Gus Van Sant (the most mysterious and beautiful sequence IMO) [the difference is that, considering it takes place on Le Marais, it does not depict the story of a boy and a girl, but two boys)

Anyway, Gaspard Ulliel, wich is playing under Van Sant's direction, is dressed from head to toe in Dior Homme (including those tank tops which are MORE THAN HOT on him ^^)

Anyway useless comment, I just wanted to share it which you, if you have the possibility to see the film, than don't hesitate, that's great ^^

Gaspard is always seen dressed head to toe in Dior Homme, especially at award ceremonies & at film showings, and has been for a many years now! I must agree he carries the clothing very well indeed and is the personification of the Dior "Homme" IMO.

If i'm not mistaken, this is him modelling at the AW'03 show, "Luster".

Children, rejoice! I took a look at first deliveries of FW 06/07 are really good quality (I mean compared to the last few seasons). I was really taken by that military coat that's also on LVR - really awesome. It's cut crazy slim though. I looked at a 50, and I was afraid to try it on, looked like a 46 at most. The price was excellent by today's standards too, $1400 and change.

hey fella's. had an inquiry about dior homme jeans.. seems that dior measures their jean length by an unusual way.., i'm a size 32x30. was wondering which would fit better, the 19 inch or 21 inch?

question about dior homme jeans

i live in california, and over here when i get a jean, i go by size 32waist 30 inseam. but these dior homme jeans only go by 19 inch and 21 inch. i'm assuming that those are inseam measurements? isnt the american way of measurement also in inches, and if so, then wouldnt both the 19 inch and 21 inch be too short?

i'm pretty sure i'm interpreting these measurements incorrectly... but i figure it'd be worth a shot to ask around here about these measurements just to make sure before i buy..

19 inch:

21 inch:

yojimbo, those are the (approximate) measurements of the leg opening, not the inseam. Choose the 19 cm for the skinnier leg.

I believe you will find the inseam to be in the neighborhood of 36-38 inches, but most people who frequent this thread will be able to tell you more about that than I can.

the idea is you just have them gather at the bottom, called either bunching or pooling. this isnt mandate though, have them tailored if you prefer. the 21s are skinny in the legs whatsoever, so if that's what you are going for i'd say get the 19s. there's a dior homme boutique in beverly hills, probably be best for you to try them in person first.

just got these from yahoo japan. my first dh accessory :D cant wait till i get them.
