anyway, no info on how to put on a cumerbund?
To answer your previous question, no, they don't go through the belt loops since tuxedo pants don't have any. The only purpose of the cummerbund is just to give a clean transition from pants to shirt. I'm not sure how this cummerbund works, but it should have some sort of buckle at the back since the buttons at the front are probably fake.

I love Dior Homme. They make clothes for the ana-mia chic male. IE Me!

yeah, but what do you want? a phonetic spelling?

Haha, I'm sorry I just had to laugh. I can't believe you paid that much for a replica piece. The jacket looks nice, but I'm almost positive the quality is not at par to Dior Homme. Plus I'm almost positive the actual Dior Homme jacket is lower than $3000.00. But if you're happy with it, I guess that's what counts.

Thanks for the info unplugged66 and diorling. i want some skinny pants but the Dior ones i've seen are not that appealing. and neither is that cumerbund belt or knock-off jacket! OK, my bitchiness for the minute is over.

That cummerbund is SO CUTE, but it is so completely useless, I dont know what Id do with it. Also, it's a little...costumy. Really really really really verging on unwearable/laughable.

I checked out some SS Dior pieces, appearantly the cut REALLY tight in the shoulders this season, to get a good fit in the shoulders I had to up 3 sizes and by then I had tent-action going on in the torso...Oh well...Funneling my money into Fendi Uomo.

I agree.. It's a "pointless designer acessory".

^ Yea, they have that at Barneys and the Dior Homme boutique. It isnt quite as straight cut as it is on the runway, its more of an a-line. It's a cute piece, but the shoulders are crazy tight on it.

Has anyone bought...or better yet...does anyone plan to buy the (p)leather pants? What shoes would you wear them with...other than the runway ones. I wouldn't think these would work with my converse.

do anyone here pin the lining of their blazers to improve their profile by flattening the tenting effect around the abdomen when the blazer is not buttoned?

^ Ive considered it. I can only see myself doing it w/ a trench b/c anyway else it would look kind of crazy, well, how exactly are you pinning it?

The trench isn't worth the pricetag (unless it costs under 100 $). It's too long and seems to be very unflattering. You would just look tall and all flat and weird in it. If it had been shorter and with a more flattering neckline, it would've been gorgeous.

^ I want to say the trench is like 1500...I think...

Anyway, I tried on the black short version of that, still not happening. The shop has pretty much all SS in, it's all doing NOTHING for me, I dont even want that safari jacket anymore. Im loving the shirt w/ the double epaulets, very cute, but I wasnt in the mood to try shirts on (thier fitting rooms are soo jarring, I need to be in a certain mood to go in them)
