I have said this before and will say it again, save on the Dior Homme jeans and go for the Swedish Acne Jeans: Website

These pics don't show their slim lines but they are, very cool underneath a smoking jacket.

Hi Faust,

Can you please give me an approximate price range DH jeans run for at those Neiman outlets? Thanks.

I'm gonna see if I can go to one maybe this weekend, i think i remember meister mentioning there being one in michigan.

Johnny, I just saw the sweater at brownsfashion...its alright, don't know if I would pay 200 pounds for it though. The hooded sweatshirt is quite interesting though, but again definitely not worth that price.

you can get them in the Neimans Outlets?!?!?!!?!?!

in stores they're around $500 a pair. During sales time, you can score some for around $300ish. I don't know.... I think they're worth it. The details are genius and the cut impeccable. I've bought all mine during sales times when they're a bit closer to "reasonable".

I just checked with Neiman Outlet as Meister says.. no Dior Homme at all... to my disappointment... but I will keep trying....

Faust, as with your previous statment about the quality of the Dior Homme items... yes I am just sooooo suprised that the quality has been soooooooooo poor this season... I saw one sweater with big black metal pin that has dior homme word printed on it... I was so disappointed to see it... ugh... terrible and not originally... That's like Donatella Vesarce with the big Safety with Liz Hurley about 6-7 years back on one of her dress... that was classy... but on Dior homme.... not original and :yuk:

I am sooooooo disappointed with Dior homme this season.. but I think it is still a good to pick up some good stuff when it is on sale next month... don't forget I think next season the price is going to hike up more partially because of Euro been so strong against the dollar.

Time also for me to move on to Alexander McQueen...

What sweater was this? There were long sleeved and short sleeved shirts with a D printed on them... the only other print I know of this season are of the eye. If the prices go up again, it'll definitely be worth a trip to europe to buy again!

yeah those shirts with the 'D' on them was a major misstep...the eye print is OK.

can you guys think of some must-have Dior Homme items this season? If I remember correctly I think I saw a DH black turtleneck sweater with a distressed effect...fabric coming apart in some of the places. Saw that one at Barneys, didn't bother checking how much it costs though :innocent:

I think the ladder/distressed sweaters (v-neck) are VERY nice. If i dont get one at the end of the season, I'll be watching ebay closely to score one in purple. The arm warmers were the signature item of the season along with the leather wrist wrap though the former is the only functional item. Nothing else really stood out this season although the Dior outerwear is always quite nice.

Definitely the outerwear... but they are damn expensive... like $3000 ... *sigh*
I am looking to get the scarve... but it seems everyone has ran out... but nevermind... since the long scarve is a fashion item...

Are you prepared to spend $300 to buy a red wrist-erchief and $600 for a suede belt with studs and eyelets. DH still has some very nice items, but some of them are just

oh god! the Mcqueen jeans are a rediculous fit!

i have a 34 inside leg which is long......longer than MOST people's leg and the mcqueen jeans were just rediculously long......even folded up a bit it didnt look quite right

the top was PERFECTION.......

but the jeans overall had too much of a balenciaga 'wishful thinking' cut

Dior Homme
