this horrified me,
and is one of the many reasons i sometimes strongly dislike dior and what/where john's deciding to take the label.
it's obvious who this is targeted to... and is just really tasteless and overwhelming.
i do not like it in the least!

does anyone else notice how this is basically just the "dior surf chick" collection all over again? it's the exact same pieces from that collection, but done in this new hideous print.

make it stop. please.

am i the only one who doesn't know who this it targetted to?

i actually like the saddle bag, but they're so much like the girly glamour collection.. i bought one of those bags back then & tee, i don't think i'll be buying anything from this collection - but i still think it's cute

I'm sick of the constant logos   Kind of like the flowers - but I'm probably just trying to make these seem bearable

I guess logo lovers will instantly fall in love with this collection.

perhaps the kind of woman who'd appear in a really trashy hip hop music video? (as if they all aren't anyhow)

i was thinking the exact same thing. even the styling is as such!
i cringe.

Somehow I don't think it's Galliano's idea to push the logo trend. I remember reading that Hedi complained about the company pushing him toward trendy and logo-ed pieces. So maybe it's the same for Galliano?

Yep, knockoff bags are on all the street corners and Canal St here in NYC.

Of course....these logo pieces aren't exactly creative works....low cost and high return...it's the sales of these logo items for the masses that brings in the $$$ and fund the other designs, which actually aren't as popular and don't have nearly the high rates of return that these logo bags and accessories do.

What good would any clothes be if everyone didn't know who made it? Think, for once!!!

If someone is wearing something simply to show off a logo/brand, their priorities are totally skewed imo. :innocent: Clothes are made to cover our nakedness and also to make us look good, not to prove how much money we can spend.
