do u knoe anyone that doesn't like fashion and why do you think it is so?

i've got a friend that really isn't into fashion, she's into just jeans and a plain top and....that could be said her style in fashion i guess.... but what i really what to knoe, WHY anyone wouldn't be into fashion?!?!

The reasons could be:
A: They don't care about how they look.
B: They believe that there is that balance, when people LOOK good, they won't be smart. If you dress bad, that means you put efford into your learning
C: Some people just don't have time for clothes, they are too busy.

^Yes, I have many friends who just aren't into fashion but I don't think it's because they don't care about how they look. They will do their makeup and fix their hair etc. but when it comes to clothes they just don't care. I think a lot of it has to do with where you live, certain places obviously put more pressure on the people that live their to dress fashionably. Unfortunatly many men fall victim to the "I care a lot about what I look like but I don't care what I wear" category.

My mum likes it but she finds that to truly follow it would be costly> She finds it torture to look at chanel suits etc and not be able to buy the lastest one every time. So she tends to turn her nose up at all trends and fashion gossip.. self preservation I guess. She used to be a model so i guess its hard to suddenly not be involved with the fashion world. She doesnt even know the names of any models now.

I can kind of see why people dont like fashion. True fashion to me is masterpiece dresses by Galliano and sky scraper ChrisL shoes and I know i may never ever own these things .. it does kind of make me have a love/hate relationship with the world

^^Fashion isn't just about expensive, inaccessible designer clothes.

I've known people who weren't "into fashion" and I never understood them. Maybe their mothers or fathers weren't that into it either. I learned from my mom, mostly.

that's the way a lot of people feel. but I think all things in moderation are good. Being anti fashion is just as stupid and closed minded as being obsessed with fashion and judging anyone who doesn't have "the latest" style

there's a girl in my class who'd puke at the word 'magazine' if only her stomach would cooperate on her crusade. she studies philosophy and according to her [and what's she's seen ], fashion [that being trends, and fashion victims, of course] has been created for brainless little bimbos. she, who has a brain bigger than most of us, however, wears the hottest chunky necklaces and leggings. totally kicking off a profound revolution against society.

yes i know many people that dont like fashion. they think its for followers and a waste of money to buy new peices every season. I think its expression and i get bored FAST if i dont change my look every season. One of the thing that makes me most happy is shopping.

That wohle "Im too busy" is such croc, IM SO BUSY. On average Im out of the house for 14 hours a day, so the too busy thing doesn't hold water.

I don't care about fashion per se....I guess some people might call this more trends, but I wouldn't wear skinny jeans just because they're in fashion because I know they don't suit me. What I do care about is CLOTHES...I'm obsessed with them, I enjoy trying to look my best. To me, there is a difference.

I find people who don't like fashion to be kind of...annoying. Well, not all of them. Some of them have this condescending "I'm better than you because I am anti-superficiality" attitude that bugs the hell outta me.

On the other hand, my mom has no interest whatsoever in fashion haha. she thinks clothes exist for the purpose of covering up and climatic purposes only.

ahh it drive me crazy lol..
I have to admit ,,, i would be alot more rich and it would be alot easier to dress in the morning without worrying about what the runway says but i can't help it. I love fashion . My friends love me for that
