i'll just repeat what everyone's saying: it all depends on why you are buying the bag. if you are buying a bag to set yourself apart from the crowd, then i think you answered your own question, if you are buying a bag bc you want something cute to walk around in, it shouldn't matter what other people have.
if you need unique, one of a kind, i suggest you invest in something newer (devi kroell comes to mind) or something unexpected from an established house (i mean hermes does make more than four bags!)...no matter who you are, a bag is a big investment, on its own it can establish or wreck a look, but in the end, no bag can overcome a downward glance and an insecure walk. so i suggest you get a bag that makes you feel like a million bucks and if the gisele does that, then go for it.
