My boyfriend doesn't really take notice of how much I spend but he notices if I have new clothes.

Actually, my SO is pretty good about fashion and clothes related stuff. Although, he's still stuck in his prepster doufus stage; we just have an understanding not to talk about clothes.

The one thing he totally doesn't get is how much I spend on my horses (boarding, showing, lessons). We're working on that one, though.

My live-in BF doesn't care what I spend on stuff because we keep our finances completely separate. As long as I pay my half of expenses he has nooo need to question my purchases, and vice versa

He gets my fashion obsession. He is obsessed with sports, so he understands that people have their interests; and that said interests can take on a fanatical level

He is actually very into looking good himself, so I think he gets it more than your typical guy. I actually greatly admire him; he always looks amazing, yet the only place he ever shops is sale racks. He has principals about spending more than $50 on one item of clothing... I absolutely don't share that viewpoint, but I respect how good he looks while having that attitude!

He gets me perfectly...encourages it and often will buy me things specially if we are going out somewhere...and he feeds my love of lingerie by always picking them out. Actually he just took me to buy some yesterday I think I don't get him or maybe I'm jealous that he just turned one of the bedrooms into a bigger closet for him, I don't know. Really, he's worse than most women with his shopping habits

On the same line with many TFSers, my boyfriend "gets" my obsession with handbags and shoes to some degree. I'm trying to teach him, slowly (very slowly), a few of the staples but he likes to annoy me on purpose and say the intentionally wrong brand name, his favorite currently is saying ''balenciagita" (agita means heart burn or indigestion in Italian :roll: ) He has bought a lot, if not all, of my big name bags because he knows it makes me unbelieveably (sp?) happy and he likes knowing that I'm well dressed. The only thing he doesn't understand is my ability to go out and buy many purchases that add up to a couple hundred but how I have such a hard time purchasing one thing that costs the same amount... *sigh* sounds to me like he's trying to talk himself out of a job

Fashion is like from another planet, when speaking in terms of my boyfriend. To him, half of it's ugly, and all of it's over priced.

my girlfriend is not as girly as me, she still loves going shopping with me but can't understand why i need to keep buying shoes that look almost identical. She always look beautiful and has a boho elegance that suits her, and we share a lot of similar tastes in clothes... however im willing to pay about 10 times more than she is for an item!
